The Vented Urban Brolly Hunter Green

Bought two of these. One arrived fine and working, the other was completely broken. Wooden handle was broken, all the spokes inside were broken. Keeping the one that is not damaged, and Amazon is replacing at no charge the one that is broken. Havent tested them out yet. Very lightweight, but due to the arrival of the damaged one, I dont have high hopes for these umbrellas.

The thin pieces that hold the closed umbrella are too long. There are two of them. Especially the thicker one hangs very long from the umbrella. Oddly they are not shown in the pictures. I like the whole design and the materials.

Now that I have it its stopped raining! Its is a classic vented umbrella at a reasonable price. It pops open at the touch of the button, has a wooden shaft, and a comfortable handle. Very light weight, which I like, I have a couple of others and they weigh a lot more and if you are juggling a purse and a bag or two of shopping youll appreciate that it is light. It is a good serviceable umbrella that wont break the bank.

To be fair Im a snob when it comes to quality. The first bullet point in the Amaz ad is Quality and that is what sold me. Well the quality of the fabric seems pretty standard and what you would expect. The main part of any umbrella though is the pole. The wood pole is not as sturdy as one expects; seems very dainty. Also the handle discolored and scratched after just a few normal uses. Im contemplating doing a mod with a leather grip to protect the handle. However just the other day as I was closing the umbrella, wrapping the fabric back up (which has to be done with a twist motion) I heard a crack as if I just snapped something. I inspected but couldnt find anything. I wouldnt be surprised if the handle comes off at some point.

I have always thought umbrellas made of metal were ridiculous. Seriously, you are outside and it’s thundering and lightening and people are walking around with a metal pole….Cray, cray! This umbrella has a wooden shaft and it is engineered to not overturn in high wind. The wooden handle is nice. And it looks expensive. He only complaint I have is the strapped holder is poorly designed because the weight of the umbrella doesn’t allow it to stay on the back when it’s carried.

Disappointed with this umbrella. Arrived with a hole in the extremely thin material. Great overall look and handle. Returned immediately.

A standard umbrella that works as it should. It is very light which makes me wonder if itll be able to hold through stronger winds. Ive only had to use it under light showers and it handled well. The carry on pouch they give you is useful because you can sling it over your shoulder. But the strap connected to the pouch doesnt look like itll hold on for long, its very thin and small. Over all, for the time Ive had this umbrella, it has done its job and isnt too much of a hassle to carry around. It also looks nice.
