> 24 hourMultiple cores of my i9-12900KS CPU always peaked at 100 degC during Cinebench R23 multi-core tests conducted at 21 degC ambient. I tried several thermal paste application methods/patterns, ...but following AIO pump assembly removal, the paste residue pattern was always evenly distributed with no evidence of CPU IHS cover bending/warping from the motherboards standard LGA1700 CPU mounting solution.

> 24 hourWas skeptical at first even after watching all the videos online about this but it really worked, dropped my temps by about 5-7 degrees on both my 12th and 13th Gen CPU’s. Recommending this to all my friends!

> 24 hourThis thing is so simple to install . Not expensive, but works like a charm.

> 24 hourCombined this plate with a very slight undervolt on my 13700k and now its maxes out around 85C as opposed to thermal throttling before. 100% these plates are essential for keeping new Intel cpu temps under control.

> 24 hour13900k/Liquid Freezer II 360/Z790 Aorus Master - no improvement in temps unfortunately. Well built and easy to install however.

> 24 hourLook I realize Thermal Grizzly basically thought of these as a solution for the 1700 socket bend but they’re super expensive and hard to find in the States. And yes, there are even some builders that believe these contact frames are just a trend and are nothing more than a security blanket for a nonissue. And in same cases that’s absolutely true. Some CPUs IHS are perfectly fine with the socket bend I had 4 that were completely fine with or without the contact frame. But after 15 builds with extreme socket bend making for poor contact with heatsinks I can say this helps more often than not. This contact frame has lowered temps by upwards of 8C on my builds and yes I tested each one. So yes, in my professional opinion Intel created a problem, never addressed it and these are the best solution, especially for anything Core i7 and up. The fact that Thermal Right created these at such a reasonable price and are indeed just as effective as Thermal Grizzly’s (check Gamers Nexus) seems too good to be true, but as I’ve said I’ve used these on 15 builds and they’re worth every penny.

> 24 hourI tried this modification because I didnt like how much torque was being applied to my CPU when using the stock fastener. I am not sure if it was actually bending the chip but it was under too much pressure in my opinion. Temps improved slightly. Easy to remove original and install and looks cleaner than original silver clamp. Comes with tool to remove and reinstall screws.

> 24 hourI was skeptical, but after struggling with my OC 13700K temps despite custom loop I decided to give this a try. No change in ambient, test, or overclock with a 12 degree delta. 12 degrees for a ten minute installation is massive. Cinebench caps at 88 now when I was hitting 100 and throttling previously. 5.7ghz all core and happy.
