Thermometer for Adults, Digital Oral Thermometer for Fever, Basal Thermometer with 10 Seconds Fast Reading

Replacement my other one broke very happy with purchase.

I bought 2 thermometers, this one & a digital one to compare temperatures. This one, at least the one I have, does not beep. Cannot read the temperature LED part in the dark as there is no light on it so I need to have my cell phone or a flashlight to read it if I don’t want to turn a light on. This is your basic thermometer.

Although this thermometer seems to be accurate, it has no beeper alarm, and is difficult to turn on and off because the button is hard to push. I bought this thermometer months ago, but am using it for the first time with a fever lasting for many days. The thermometer keeps switching to Celsius, and I no longer have the directions to tell me how to switch it back to Fahrenheit, so Im very aggravated with it. Plan to purchase a different thermometer.

For me, this is the easiest,and more accurate way of talking your temperature. For the price, how can you do any better?!

Easy to use. Accurate

This looked like just what we wanted in terms of fast reading and audible signals, so I ordered 2. The first one I tried just didnt work. Switch it on, and it gives a weak LCD display, and shows an error code. Maybe the battery is nearly dead. I havent tried replacing it yet; it looks like a challenge to pull off the battery cover, even with tools. The second one did work. The good: the flexible bulb end is a definite plus. It really does give a reading that seems accurate and consistent, in about 10 seconds. Great. The bad: it makes no audible signal. None. Thats half the reason I bought this model. So it appears that it does give a definite and useful temperature reading fast. Rather than listen for a beep, just time it for 10-15 seconds, and read it. But thats a big disappointment, not to mention the apparently high probability that if you buy one, it wont work out of the box, at all.

This was a replacement for my old thermometer. Quite nice but I would prefer an all plastic casing. I dont like the rubbery mouth piece. Makes me feel it isnt as easy to keep sterile than my previous thermometer.

Lo ? On-LCD prompts could be improved. How about Ready.
