Pretty fast reading(10-15sec) can be used orally and under armarrived day after I ordered comes with a clear plastic case the price is great too really good value

I have been using an old Oral-B mercury thermometer for a very long time. Its guaranteed to be accurate due to the mercury. You cant buy a new thermometer with mercury any more. I was very reluctant to buy a new thermometer due to concerns about the accuracy. Turns out that the benefits of this thermometer outweigh the possible accuracy issues. I really like that the measurement is completed so quickly. The measurements seem to be fairly consistent. The unit beeps when the measurement is done. The display is easy to read. The Lo indicator is somewhat meaningless and should probably be redesigned.

The only thing keeping me from giving this product is that its not replicating the same result in the same scenarios. Theyre not wildly different but they are slightly different. To give an example, it reads a slightly different temperature a minute or two apart from the last test even though it was placed in the exact same position. This might be user error but I was able to replicate this error back to back. Im guessing Ill just have to read these temperatures as approximate by <1 degree.

The product was cheap to buy and works like it’s supposed to.

I just got this thermometer in the mail less than five minutes ago. I took it out of its package, took my temperature...and it said low battery. I understand this thing is cheap, but at this point, I dont expecr to get more than a few uses out of it. The battery cant be changed, so I guess it goes in the trash once the battery dies. Save your money and spend a bit more on one that will last.

Readings are quick, much faster than my old thermometer and appear to be just as accurate.
