Thule RoundTrip Bike Duffel

> 24 hourI misread the description for this, which makes my husband very happy. I thought it would mount to the rear carriers on our bikes. However, its really an extremely nice piece of luggage for bicycle trips. My husband thinks it would also adapt well for shopping trips, of which we are making none at this time, due to being confined to home due to the pandemic. This helps feed our dreams of the days to come when well be able to go camping again. It is, as you would expect with Thule products, extremely well made, as far as weve been able to determine. Its also extremely well thought out, with a place for everything. If you take bicycling trips, this would be a great piece of kit, which would make that much easier. Thank you very much for reading my review. If it was helpful, please click the button below.

> 24 hourIt’s too soon to review. I’ve only had this bag for about 3-4 months. It has nice sections and pockets. It’s a luxury and comfort to have everything in one place avoiding the need to pack/unpack. Most of the inside dividers are open at the bottom. Small objects stored in them will move around main compartment as they please. As a solution you will need small containers in which to place these smaller objects etc. in order to find them quickly.

> 24 hourThis duffel is listed at 3-5 days of gear. However, I easily fit a weeks worth of road gear in this the first time I packed it. Im not necessarily a light packer so I feel the product listing is being conservative on capacity. I love how well thought out the storage compartments are on this. Everything has a spot and every spot is actually large enough for its purpose. Material quality and stitching is absolutely top notch. Im not worried at all about tossing this duffel around. Also, even though this is huge, Ive been able to wear this while cycling without issue. It doesnt shift about too much and its fairly comfortable to wear, when needed. Overall, this is my new favorite gear packing option for longer trips. Im very pleased with it and have absolutely no reservations recommending it. 5 stars Cheers!

> 24 hourHave always been very impressed with Thule products and this duffel sure does keep up with their quality. The inserts inside for different items and outfits is really really neat for organization especially when youre on the road. Would have been nice to be able to take the insert in and out if you needed to, but other than that this product is well stitched and has even lasted out in some weather.

> 24 hourThis bag is terrific--lightweight but sturdy. Took it on recent bike trip. Fit helmet, shoes, toiletries, clothes etc. As a matter of fact, 2 of us packed in this one bag! Will use it all the time, not just for bike trips. Interior organizer makes it so easy to find things as opposed to rumaging around in an ordinary duffle. Love it!

> 24 hourThe bag is very good quality and functional. Of course, it should be for the price. No complaints here.

> 24 hourThis bag is the luxury item I never knew I needed! For years Ive been throwing things in a backpack and then always rummaging around trying to find things on top of each other. I would be fumbling around in the dark, unable to get to what I need without dumping everything out. Frustrating to say the least. The great thing about this bag are the many to down viewable compartments for all your clothing needs. I know many people have complained about the bottom of the compartments not being closed and they consider it a design flaw. In my opinion I believe it not to be a fault at all, but a brilliant choice by Thule, because it allows the different compartments to expand or contract as needed based on different size items you stuff into them. For instance a larger bicycling bib takes more room versus socks or gloves. If you do choose to put smaller loose items in those top down viewable triangular pockets slipping them into sandwich baggies or pill containers has been my solution. The bag does swallow a tremendous amount of gear perfect for a cycling Expedition, or Everesting challenge or any long endurance events where you need to constantly change out kit and need day and night options, plus sunny and rainy options. I generally end up taking way more than I need but Im then prepared for that just in case situation the weather throws at me.

> 24 hourAs someone who does multiple rides a week from various starting points the tedium of moving biking gear in and out of my car was annoying at best. This duffel is the perfect companion for your rides, as it is one place to organize all your gear (helmet, shoes, HR strap, computer, spare tubes, tools, etc.) and when I need the space in my trunk I simply move the bag. No more forgetting anything for a ride - all I need to remember now is my bike and my bag.
