Go to youtube and watch a few videos and you should be able to install this RAM. Its not hard. I upgraded my Macbook Pro 2012 from 4GB to 16GB. I can now load tons of apps. Be sure to upgrade the hard drive though to SSD. Youll see the most gains from going to SSD over RAM.

I run a lot of audio editing (Logic Pro X), photoshop, and other heavy software and my computer was really struggling to keep up as it was a 2012 MacBook Pro and even with a 500gb SSD and 8gb of ram it still was having a lot of trouble. I just installed this in just a few minutes and my computer is running SOOOO much better! It’s made a huge difference and was super easy to get back up and running! Made my 2012 13” macbook pro pep up instantly. Went from 8gb to to this 16gb, night and day difference. Installation easier than expected, no battery removal, just popped out the old ram, popped the 2 new cards in…was done in 10 minutes.

Was easy to install following apples instructions online. Did a full restart of my laptop and notice a huge difference!

Replacing/upgrading RAM on older MacBooks depends on getting the right info to be sure all the RAM module specs are exactly right for ones own laptops---both of my purchases were exactly right :-)
