> 3 dayI know these scissors are made for pet grooming, but we used these to remove and change my dogs bandages. She has cancer tumors on her leg that bleed and have to be constantly changed. These scissors cut through the adhesive tape and the heavy gauze with such ease, we werent afraid of accidentally poking her. So glad I chose these - they work great.

> 3 daySolid and sturdy feel. Comfortable use for straight cut trims. The serrated edge helpful to grip hairs in place as you cut. My first pair ordered were defective, the serrated edge was partial and not completely end to end. I notified seller and customer service shipped me a replacement. Somehow those were MIA via postal, which customer service on their own noticed and advised me another would be sent out without worry. Remember, these are a straight tool, not an angle/curve tool.

> 3 dayI do a lot of embroiderary and appliqué! I have have a broad assortment of tiny, sharp, pointed scissors at my disposal! But, not one of them is suitable for trimming the tiny places around my tiny, active Bichon puppy because of their sharp points. I purchased the scissors because they were so reasonably priced, but, frankly, I didnt expect much. I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped my pair of scissors! They have a nice heft to them and the tiny serrations are just like the ones on my tiny, very expensive embroidary scissors. Those tiny serrations make a big difference! My pair of scissors have a tiny black bumper which make the cuts virtually silent! And, they have those nicely rounded points that are far less likely to harm a squirming pup! I am wondering if Scaredy Cut would be willing to tackle a super product for safely removing those tiny hairs in the delicate ears? Hint! Hint?

> 3 dayIt is a little small and I think, slightly larger would be better, but it cuts fur and my hair-cutting scissors, which I paid twice as much for, didnt, or, more accurately, my kitty would have none of it. The tiny serrated edge, so small its hard to see, seems to be what makes the difference and I was able to get a few snips in before my cat even concerned enough about what I was doing to get up. I still cant groom the furry monster in one sitting, but being able to get a few snips done without her turning into a tasmanian devil is a huge improvement. I love these little scissors cause they actually work. The balled edge (not pointy) is a plus too. For cat fur trimming for the non professional, this is a great little scissor. A+, 6 stars and all that.

> 3 dayPros: Affordable Great size for small dogs Great customer service Con: Not as sharp as I wanted but that can be fixed with a sharpener which is an expense you would not expect with brand new scissors. Probably defective. Update: After writing this review initially, I was contacted immediately by scardycut who offered me a refund and let me keep the defective scissors. I was surprised that they would give me a full refund for something that isnt that expensive, that just lets you know how good their customer service is. They also promised to send me a replacement which never arrived but I wasnt concerned since after the refund I thought it wasnt really necessary. Recently I received and e-mail asking about my experience with the replacement that never arrived. I honestly just ignored it since well I wasnt really expecting them. I just received the replacement in the mail and tested them on my miniature poodle and work great, the last ones where probably defective.

16-04-2025These are nice for trimming around dog eyes and face. They were still a little too big for my little Yorkie ..,, 5 pounds. I can still use them to trim her legs and rear hair. No thumb rest. And the Guards/ tips were kind of large. Great for a bigger dog.

> 3 dayOur new Shiatsu dog came to us with a really bad eye infection. Poor little thing could hardly get her eyes open. The vet said we need to keep the hairs around her eyes cut low. I went online as soon as I got home and did my usual due diligence. Checked all the scissors information and this one really stood out. I am so thrilled that I ordered it. It came quickly and in great condition. The packaging lets you slide the scissors out to use it and then slide it back in to store. When we tried it on Fiona we were so happy for her response. As expected she is really leary for anyone to be around her eyes. The hair cut nice with the sharp blades and the rounded tips helped me not worry about clipping her. Since it went so well cutting around her eyes I think Fiona will get use to our weekly checkup. Overall, I defiantly stand behind my five star rating.

Greater than one weekI accidentally misplaced my new trimmers before I could use them on my dog. Tiny Trim contacted us to see how we liked their product. My husband ley them know I had misplaced the trimmers and they immediately shipped me a brand new pair with no charge. We received them very quickly and I was able to easily trim my dogs paws that night! My dog is older and frequently slips on our hard-wood floors. Keeping the fur out of his paws has been amazing with preventing slips and injury! Thank you Tiny Trim!

> 3 dayThese tiny scissors are perfect for home grooming and trimming my Bichon and Maltese dogs. Out of the package, this scissor is very sharp and its small size allows me to carefully and precisely cut the hair around my dogs faces and muzzles. The ball-tipped ends are a nice safety feature, preventing the ends from poking and injuring my pets. I have been using the scissors for about 2 weeks so I cannot vouch for long term durability or sharpness. The finger holes are snug which prevents the scissors from slipping from my hand, but as a result, they can get a bit stuck on my fingers. I have an average to large size womans hand. This is not a problem for me as I prefer to have a firm grip on the scissors, but it might be an issue for someone with larger fingers.

> 3 dayMy dog would NOT hold still for me to trim her face before I purchased these wonderful scissors. For whatever reason (quietness, smoothing cutting action, size?) my dog is soooo much better with these. Now trimming her face (along with feet and other delicate areas) is a quick process. Im so glad I found these. Thanks to everyone who wrote reviews so I knew what a gem these little shears could be.
