I am in a non weight bearing cast for over 10 weeks. This has been a LIFE SAVER. It fit over my splint cast and now over my hard cast that goes to my knee. It stretches over and is ample in size. It fits snug When taking it off you have to pull the top Down evenly so it goes over The cast then it slides Right off. I love it

This shower leg protector is made of a heavier plastic than what you find at the local drugstore. It is a long thick plastic bag that has a tight rubber gasket at the top of the bag with a plastic ring holding the gasket in place. I had major foot surgery. Instead of a cast the Doctor thickly bandaged my foot and gave me an orthotic boot/shoe to wear. There is no way a leg cast can fit in this leg shower bag. I had to remove my orthopedic boot and use both hands to get the gasket collar open enough to safely put my bandaged foot in the bag. If you dont open the gasket collar enough it will put pressure on your injured foot and can cause pain. If youre not careful removing the bag your bandages will get wet. This leg shower bag is a lot better than any from the drug store or the ones sold at the big American Supercenters pharmacy department. Its also superior to using a kitchen trash bag .
