Greater than one weekI do like the bag. I have been looking for one that you can keep your laptop in the bag and not have to remove it to use it. there are a lot of book style cases out there but of course most of them are for Apple. So when i saw this one, I thought I would try and see what it look like. It resembles a lot of what I was looking for. I only wish it had corner elastic to hold the top of my Notebook. that way I would be able to carry it with me and not have to remove my notebook from the bag. That way i could keep my Notebook protected from scratches. however, this brief case is very soft, very protectable, and it is protected on the outside as well. Yes i would definitely recommend this item.

Greater than one weekGreat quality materials. I have to give it 2 stars because case opens on the bottom. Ive used it for a few weeks and I just cant stand the bottom opening. Its terrible. It would be perfect if they could sew it together the standard way with the opening on the top. If you dont mind the upside down laptop compartment then this is a great quality case. Just a deal breaker for me. Update: 8/14/17 They have an updated version of this laptop case. It has the traditional opening on the top. The Company is awesome at customer service and has helped me find the right case. So 5 stars for the Company, 4 stars for the case material and build quality, and 5 stars for the new product. Thanks!

> 3 dayI recently purchased this laptop bag for my son who just started college. We have been very impressed with this Laptop bag so far. It has the most incredibly soft fabric inside that is great for protecting your laptop. It has a leather handle on top that is made well also and is durable. On the front of the bag there is a smaller zipper pocket for all of your extra things. In that pocket it also has certain spots for your mouse and other things that are secured by thick elastic. We are very happy with this laptop bag so far and feel it actually exceeded our needs.

> 3 dayI bought this case specifically because I needed something protective that could fit inside a backpack. I felt like I had to write a review given how varied some of the information is in Tomtocs pictures/website and others experiences. I purchased the blue/black case in the 15.6in size. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P50 ( at WxDxH=14.86 x 9.93 x 1.02 and 5.6lbs, its a brick). I received the version of the case with a zipper for the main compartment along the right edge only and one large pocket in the front, which was pretty much what I expected. The exterior has the durable material youd expect from a nice backpack. I bet it could take some abuse and an occasional spill from my water bottle without much effect. It has a bit of a sheen under natural light (it was a cloudy day). Sticking a ruler onto the back edge opposite the zipper and measuring perpendicular to it, the case is just about 16 wide. Measuring inside from corner to corner, its about 17.75 to the cushion lining and exactly 18 to the outer zipper. I placed my computer into it without making any adjustments, and the corners of the machine extend just a hair past where the cushion lining starts. I then ran my finger around the perimeter of the case to stretch it over the corners of the machine, which did with ease (it even comfortably fit over the USB mouse connector. Finally, I placed the charging brick, cord, rolled up mouse pad, and a Logitech M510 mouse into the front compartment. Both compartments zipped easily without me having to tug on them or straining the zipper. The height of the case with the machine and gear in it comes to 3.75. Theres nothing special about the case, but it does exactly what I need: fits the computer + basic gear comfortably, and can slide into my backpack. I never plan to carry the case around by itself and I think I would be frustrated with the lack of storage space if I tried to do so. The protection it will provide is mostly from cosmetic damage and a leaky water bottle. I bet it could handle a small drop at a mild angle, but I suspect Id be sorry if I dropped it onto its corner or edge from table height or higher.

> 3 dayToo big, this case was not made for a 15.6 inch laptop. My Galaxy book2 pro, which is a 15.6 inch laptop, move around in the case; it is not a snug fit. The case is well made and it has pockets for accessories and the protective padding is just okay. When I am traveling, I want a snug fitting case for my laptop. I have another case from this company and it fits my MacBook Pro exactly. I returned this case and will keep looking for better fitting case.

Greater than one weekthis is a lightweight computer case. very durable. carrie’s all the essentials. and it’s a reasonable price to pay for a hard working case that takes daily abuse - at least from me’

Greater than one weekThis bag for my Surface Book is a great fit. It’s light and easy to carry, which makes it perfect for carrying my laptop across campus. The Surface Pen can fit either in the main compartment with the laptop quite comfortably, or can simply go in one of the pen holders in the small front pocket. One thing to note about the front pocket is that with many laptops, the charger is somewhat bulky and getting it to fit can be a pain. If you can manage to leave your charger at home, that will keep the bag nice and light. This case is overall very nice and I would recommend it for anyone who wants a stylish case for daily use bringing their Surface Book or Pro to school/work. As a forewarning, I was given a free product to review, though keep in mind that this did not sway nor influence my review in any way.

Greater than one weekGreat small case for my Pro 7. I like the end opening for the Surface, and the lining does a great job of not only cushioning the machine, but it grips the fuzzy lining of the Surfaces keyboard cover. The zippered pouch is sufficiently roomy to pack power supply, a small pair of headphones, a USB hub, various adapters and other supplies. My only issue is that the silver colored fabric is already showing some soiling. I got the silver to match the Surface. I should have gotten a black one.
