I got this because it fit my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro but specifically because the blue material with the tan handle looks great and premium. But I got the recycled plastic version, which is a darker blue with a black handle. Doesnt look nearly as good. I contacted their support, and they told me the tan handle version is no longer sold. After a few days I got a refund. Im happy theyre using recycled material and that the customer service was good, but they really need to change the product listing here. It still shows a product they no longer have, which is functionally lying to buyers.

I put my new 15.6 Dell Inspiron in this bag and its a great fit. has little extra room if I wanted to go larger.

I bought this case specifically because I needed something protective that could fit inside a backpack. I felt like I had to write a review given how varied some of the information is in Tomtocs pictures/website and others experiences. I purchased the blue/black case in the 15.6in size. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P50 ( at WxDxH=14.86 x 9.93 x 1.02 and 5.6lbs, its a brick). I received the version of the case with a zipper for the main compartment along the right edge only and one large pocket in the front, which was pretty much what I expected. The exterior has the durable material youd expect from a nice backpack. I bet it could take some abuse and an occasional spill from my water bottle without much effect. It has a bit of a sheen under natural light (it was a cloudy day). Sticking a ruler onto the back edge opposite the zipper and measuring perpendicular to it, the case is just about 16 wide. Measuring inside from corner to corner, its about 17.75 to the cushion lining and exactly 18 to the outer zipper. I placed my computer into it without making any adjustments, and the corners of the machine extend just a hair past where the cushion lining starts. I then ran my finger around the perimeter of the case to stretch it over the corners of the machine, which did with ease (it even comfortably fit over the USB mouse connector. Finally, I placed the charging brick, cord, rolled up mouse pad, and a Logitech M510 mouse into the front compartment. Both compartments zipped easily without me having to tug on them or straining the zipper. The height of the case with the machine and gear in it comes to 3.75. Theres nothing special about the case, but it does exactly what I need: fits the computer + basic gear comfortably, and can slide into my backpack. I never plan to carry the case around by itself and I think I would be frustrated with the lack of storage space if I tried to do so. The protection it will provide is mostly from cosmetic damage and a leaky water bottle. I bet it could handle a small drop at a mild angle, but I suspect Id be sorry if I dropped it onto its corner or edge from table height or higher.

This is a very nice case. For twice the price it would be worth the money. I bought this for a mac book pro. Since I am using a J5 create docking station(very light weight and portable) I went with the next size up so I can transport them both. The docking station is about 2 longer than the Mac book. I am an industrial designer for a living and I can tell you the form function and style is really nice. highly recommend.

This case is PERFECT for my new 15.6 HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop and accessories with plenty of room to spare! That being said, the first one I received was both the wrong color (black instead of blue black) and was the old model with the zipper running all the way around instead of down just the one side. I sent it back and contacted Amazon about it and they made sure the right one was sent to me after placing the second order. Now that I have what I ordered, I love it! This was my criteria for a case: - Fits my 15.6 laptop without having to squeeze. CHECK! As you can see from the pictures, its plenty roomy inside the sleeve without being way too big and loose. The laptop doesnt jostle around once its in there. - Has enough space to carry my mouse, laptop charger, an external SSD housing and some misc cables and flash cards/drives. CHECK! Again, as you can see it has no trouble accommodating all of that stuff in the front pocket. Its nice and snug when zipped up but definitely all fits just fine! - Thin and light weight enough to fit inside and carry in my backpack. CHECK! See how well it fits inside my Thule backpacks rear compartment with some bose headphones, a powerbank and some additional stuff like my wallet and another external drive in a case. It zips up over the laptop sleeve no problem! - Well made, sturdy and protective. CHECK! For not being very bulky at all, I feel very secure about carrying my laptop and accessories around in just this sleeve without having to put it inside another bag. I feel like it would protect the laptop from a waist high drop and CERTAINLY the soft, plush interior protects it from scratches! While it isnt water proof, it IS water resistant which is all I need. Over the weekend I walked from my car to the University library with it while it was snowing pretty hard and the snow flakes melted and ran right off it no problem. The carry handle is very comfortable and well made and slides down and stays out of the way when not in use. The materials used feel very high quality all around. - Priced reasonably. CHECK! For what you get I think the price of this sleeve is more than fair. So aside from my initial problem with the receiving the older model in the wrong color, I have been extremely pleased with this case/sleeve since the correct one arrived. I can highly recommend it! And yes, I paid full price for it. Hope this helps!

Materials are pretty good for the price. I rather like the front pocket options: two pen holders (though a bit loose), 2 dual strap sections for cords, 1 section that seems to fit cards, but its really too loose to hold anything securely. The one downside I would mention is that the front pocket zipper opens in reverse of the main pocket (main pocket opens downward of the handle, yet the front pocket opens in the direction of the handle)... pretty annoying if youre trying to have easy access while keeping the sleeve in a bag and want to access both the main and front pocket. If they fixed the direction then this would get 5 stars and I would recommend it to everyone.

Tomtoc screams nothing but quality! Super thick padding and of course the most padding is where it needs to be! ALL surrounding corners and not just the corners the whole thing is about an inch thick of padding Your laptop does not move around inside at all! Very happy with this purchase buy this Brand at least if you care about your electronics like i do!!

Fits my dell laptop perfectly. The exterior pocket is large enough to hold the charging brick/cables, multiple USB hubs, a portable mouse, mouse pad, ethernet cable and USB adapter, steklo stand, and eyeglasses case. I could probably even fit a little more. Very pleased with the overall quality of the bag. No issues with the zippers or seams. The padded interior feels substantial and the reinforced corners are present and gives me a lot of confidence. Great bag. Highly recommend it.

This fits my Surface Book perfectly. I dont like that the pocket for the computer opens at the bottom instead of at the top. If you were to pick this up with your computer in the case and forgot to zip it up, the computer would fall out. A serious concern for me since I am a bit forgetful, If the zipper closed at the top this wouldnt be an issue. Other than that, great case. The interior provides plenty of cushioning and there is a good amount of room in the additional pocket. I am able to fit a 2TB hard drive, the charger for the laptop, a few phone charger cords, and an ipod with headphones.

I bought this case as an additional form of protection for when I have my laptop in my bookbag at school. I like the fact that the zipper comes all the way around since it means no matter which direction I put it in, I can always unzip it depending on how I positioned the zippers beforehand. With that being said, I dont really use the case outside of the bag but Im still really glad I have it because its soft interior makes me feel like my laptop is padded and protected. The only thing I dont like is that its so snug on my Surface Book that sometimes when I take it out, Ill find that my volume buttons have been pushed, meaning that if I had my laptop muted beforehand, it isnt anymore. Ive taken out my laptop in class and opened it up only to have audio blasting at full volume (luckily I was able to get to the mute button again before it was a problem). So if youre using this for a laptop that has external buttons, just keep in mind that they could be pushed with this case if it fits snugly.
