Despite being a compact laptop bag, the pocket at the front can hold a lot of extra accessories. Definitely a good find for a easy laptop bag with good protection.

The tomtoc 17in. laptop sleeve serves its purpose, to protect the laptop. Ive already dropped the encased laptop about two feet and the tomtoc sleeve protected my Acer Nitro 5; 15.5in. screen. I had multiple reasons to purchase this sleeve. 1) To protect the laptop from accidental hits to my backpack where the laptop is stored or when I remove my laptop from the backpack. 2) To protect the exterior of the laptop while its in the backpack. I bought this case as an additional form of protection for when I have my laptop in my bookbag at school. I like the fact that the zipper comes all the way around since it means no matter which direction I put it in, I can always unzip it depending on how I positioned the zippers beforehand. With that being said, I dont really use the case outside of the bag but Im still really glad I have it because its soft interior makes me feel like my laptop is padded and protected. The only thing I dont like is that its so snug on my Surface Book that sometimes when I take it out, Ill find that my volume buttons have been pushed, meaning that if I had my laptop muted beforehand, it isnt anymore. Ive taken out my laptop in class and opened it up only to have audio blasting at full volume (luckily I was able to get to the mute button again before it was a problem). So if youre using this for a laptop that has external buttons, just keep in mind that they could be pushed with this case if it fits snugly.

This case offers very good value to quality ratio. At the moment, I have only used it to store my laptop at home when Im not using it, so I cant speak to the durability yet, but it certainly feels high quality as well. It doesnt look or feel inexpensive. I am also a fan of the front pocket to store cables and accessories. It doesnt add much extra bulk and it keeps everything organized in one case. Assuming the durability holds up for a while when I travel with it, I am more than satisfied.

I literally JUST received this item a few minutes ago and rushed to insert my laptop inside. I have a 15.6 inch HP laptop and it fits perfectly. Exterior material is a bit more wrinkled than what is pictured, but that doesnt bother me too much. Interior is nice and soft. The most surprising aspect was that the main compartment zipper does NOT open 180 degrees! It opens only from one side (right if you are looking at it head on with the tomtoc brand displayed) and you must slide your laptop inside rather than lay it in like shown in the picture. I have not seen anyone else report this, but upon looking through the reviews, I noticed that the 180 degree design has proven to be rather problematic for others in that it increases the risk of your laptop falling out (yikes). Not sure if this was an intentional fix to that problem or not, but I think it is something people should be aware of regardless. Other than that misleading claim, I am happy with it for now and plan to keep using it. *UPDATE: Tomtoc reached out to me and verified that the location change for the zipper was indeed to fix the issue of laptops falling out. They apologized and even issued me a partial refund for the inconvenience! Excellent customer service!

Got this for my 6th gen ThinkPad X1 Carbon. Fits well. The main compartment is roomy enough that its easy to slide in and out, but close enough fitting that it isnt floating around in there. The soft, fluffy lining is nice. It does a little bit to mitigate the finger-print-magnet finish of the X1C a little bit, but it doesnt solve it by any means. If your laptop was perfectly free of fingerprints before you put it in this case, the case might get rid of the fingerprints you got from putting it in the case. The front pocket is roomy and useful. The power brick of the X1C fits fine but of course makes the pocket bulge a bit. Plenty of room in the front pocket for other charging cables, a mouse, phone, or whatever other small items you might need to carry. The handle is well... handy. Feels sturdy. No problems with it other than I wish it was black. For my use, Id take a brown handle over no handle.

I recently purchased an hp envy x360 2 in 1 15.6 laptop. At almost a $1000, I was looking for a durable and protective case with storage room for my pricey acquisition. Having purchased tomtoc products for my other devices, I knew they would have what I was looking for at a great price point. I chose this particular case because it offered the non bulky additional storage I wanted for accessories and personal belongings in a secure double zipped outer pocket with bands to secure your belongings as well as additional space for writing tools, notepads, wallet, phone and more. The side zip pocket is lined in a plush thick material to ensure easy storing and protection from scratches and such. The inner lining offers shock resistance from corner to corner. My laptop slipped right in as well as my mouse pad and journals. Its not a snug fit but its the perfect size for my needs. The top retractable handle is sturdy and well made. The color combination I chose is eye catching and sleek. Overall Im very satisfied with this additional tomtoc product. Having experience with other tomtoc cases, I feel secure in that my device is well protected in case of accidental drops, liquid spills, and zippers sliding open. Great for travel, work, school or just plain protection. The price points are great and the quality is outstanding.

I just bought my wife a MacBook Pro so I didn’t want her to have to carry it without any protection so decided to buy this for her. She instantly loved it and how soft it was inside and she carries it everywhere she goes when she needs to do work for her classes. The only thing I think it should have came with was a shoulder strap, I think that would have helped out a lot more but other than that it’s great. I’ll update later to see how the quality of it is.
