Used this in our camper, both usb plugs work great, but many 110v power cords cant insert fully into the outlets.... strange.

Charging ports failed after the first power failure in the house. Spent a lot of money for the convenience that didn’t last long.

The actual three-prong plugs in this outlet are very hard to use. It takes a lot of force and some wiggling to get anything to plug into it. Im worried about damaging my electrical cords.

They quit working

This is super easy to install if your junction box doesnt have room many wires in it. This takes up more room inside the box than a standard plug. The charging, including PPS, works great but the USB-C side is limited to 5V if both ports are in use. Some charging cables will draw voltage even when no device is connected and that alone can impact the USB-C rate. This uses a standard Decora plate but none is included. I have purchased some higher wattage receptacles like this from other companies and they usually came with a wall plate. This 30W receptacle is good for areas where people need to charge phones and tablets but a 65W plug is better for laptop charging. Knowing how warm normal chargers can get outside the wall it gives me peace of mind that these are UL listed.

It was simple to install, only lasted 6 months. I was charging my wifes iPhone through USB-A and plugged my Pixel in the USB-C and it shorted out both phones - the Pixel wouldnt charge because the input was fried and the apples battery was severely compromised (charge to 100% and in 3 minutes it was dead). It was great and worked as advertised, until it didnt... I am going to try the Leviton brand of outlet, hope that brand doesnt fry my 2 new phones.

This outlet works fine for any phone or tablet, but if you have a Mac book pro apple laptop... it WILL NOT CHARGE hardly at all. My charging brick registers at over 80 watts, where this outlet only supplies up to 20 watts. Charges less than 4 times as slow though.

This was my seventh order of this item over the last several years as I have installed them in multiple locations in my home and in my three children’s homes. This most recent order did not operate properly after installation as the Tamper Resistant feature caused it to be very difficult to fully insert a plug even after multiple attempts. I reached out to the seller by email and they promptly responded with an offer to provide a replacement that they would test before sending. I just received the replacement. What more could you expect? These are very functional receptacles as long as you have room in the outlet box as all of these USB type receptacles are deeper than simple outlets.

Easy to install as any other outlet. However, after about two months the USB-C port stopped working. The USB-A works fine. Disappointed to have spent so much on an outlet that has now lost the functionality I bought it for over a standard $3 outlet. Going forward I will probably stick to established brands such as eaton or leviton.
