Greater than one weekIve been looking for some time for an outlet that supported USB-C/Thunderbolt charging and the additional USB-A port is useful too. I bought and installed 3 - no problems of any kind. Please note that these outlets have 3 terminal screws - 1 for black wire, 1 for white wire and 1 for ground wire. Two of my outlets were setup this way and were easy to replace. My 3rd outlet has 2 black, 2 white and 1 ground wire, so I ran a pigtail connection for the 2 black and 2 white wires to get them into one wire each to connect to the terminal screws. If you have an outlet with this configuration of 2 black, 2 white and 1 ground wire you must also run pigtail connections to the terminal screws or use the small holes in the back for 2 black and 2 white push through wire connections. As I did not use the push through connections at all, I cant comment on that. No issues of any kind getting these outlets to work on first try. I like these enough I may be another one or two in the future to add to my house. One outlet I have connected all the time to an Amazon Echo device and the outlet has worked fine, even allowing a USB charge connection while the Echo is plugged in. Note that these dont support Qualcomm Quick Charge, but I found the charging to be fast enough for my needs. And finally, if you are looking to replace an outlet where the top and bottom plug receptacles are on different circuit breakers, this device wont support that. That kind of setup is a bit unusual and shouldnt be found in most home setups.

> 3 dayThis outlet works fine for any phone or tablet, but if you have a Mac book pro apple laptop... it WILL NOT CHARGE hardly at all. My charging brick registers at over 80 watts, where this outlet only supplies up to 20 watts. Charges less than 4 times as slow though.

> 3 dayI bought 5 thinking Ill throw them in strategic places around the house where I could plug my laptop into without the wall wart .. except I was too hasty and didnt read that it will NOT charge a type-c laptop. Primary reason for buying is gone. Well, at least I know new devices - phones, iPads etc are probably going to usb3 type c so go begin to replace standard outlets on kitchen island. After pulling out standard outlet, notice that a) its in a series so 2 cables to deal with, and b) the box is SUPER SHALLOW .. and the top greener .. its twice the depth of a standard outlet, and wont even fit in the box - which has to be shallow as its already flush to the inside of the island which has drawers etc and cant not go any deeper. Then I look at wall outlet candidates and realize most if not all will have 2 wires to deal with, and with the wires coming in and getting stuffed into a standard work box, this unit is a REAL tight fit .. so best be prepared to do a lot of wire reworking and possibly replacing the work boxes as well if theres room to. Right now Im not sure the effort is worth the gain or the $ for these and am thinking of returning the other 4 unopened.

> 3 dayPurchased 2 of these for our kitchen. They work well as we can charge our iPads and iPhones and still have the 2 outlets free!

> 3 dayGood value. However I did not realize that the outlets were tamper resistant. I swear tamper resistant plugs should be renamed adult proof. They require too much force to to plug things in and out. I wish a non-tamper resistant model was available
