> 3 dayThis umbrella is a lovely sky blue color. Its made from 7 recycled water bottles which is a big plus. It opens with a click and closes easily. This umbrella is good sized, it measures about 40 across when open and a full three feet long when closed. its not the collapsible type, its a classic, long style umbrella with a hook handle and pointy ferrule on top. It appears well made with a sturdy metal ribbing, the post feels like light aluminum. Its nicely waterproof, water rolls off surprisingly quick and clean. A few shakes and its nearly dry. This is a large, nice looking umbrella, made from recycled materials and it repels water very effectively.

> 3 dayI love this umbrella design. I thought it was so cute!! I did not catch that it had a metal handle though. This is the second one that Ive ordered from Totes on Amazon and they are really well made.

> 3 dayThis is a durable umbrella. It has held up to torrential rains better than any I have owned.

> 3 dayMy wife and I have been through beaucoup umbrellas through the years. We live in the southwest, where it is mostly very hot, and we use umbrellas for moveable shade[we are walkers]. But when it comes to rain - it pours! Heretofore my favorite umbrella was a gift from the Tuscany Hotel & Casino. But this Totes Signature Auto Open now surpasses it[Although it remains to be seen, if it too, can hold up to the test of time. As this Tote umbrella looks to be of high quality in appearance and the feel of it; plus, its simplicity in use - I see it competing easily.] What I like most IS its simplicity and ease of use. Its also just the right length for my wife to use as a cane[she just add a rubber attachment to its tip]. Its size is just right when it comes to function and use. And its use is simplicity itself. Just press the button and it unfolds w/o hassle. To close it, manually pull down, and it easily slide to click close. Now just twist the folds o9f the umbrella into place, again no hassle.

> 3 dayOk, so this came in the nick of time!!! It has been raining here for the past three days and according to the forecast it will be raining for the next week to week and half. So, I was so glad when I saw this. The end/ferrule of the umbrella is quite long. Longer than normal. The umbrella itself is smaller than I thought. Not going to be big enough for two people, unless its a smaller person or two children. Its all plastic and I was actually expected metal or a strong wood or something more stronger/sturdy. Its an easy push to open button on it. Now, to the NeverWet part. I thought it was the neatest thing ever. The easiest way I can compare this is, when my dad taught me to take care of my car he taught me about rainX and how if I used it on my windshield my wipers would have to put in as much work. So, to me its like there is some kind of repellant on the umbrella and keeps the water from sticking to the umbrella. Its pretty neat and amazing. Now I can not say if this is temporary or not, it may be. Only time will tell. For now, no complaints other than the size and the fact that its all plastic (feel like it will break easily), for that I deducted a star.

> 3 dayIt works very well, but the pictures are a bit misleading in terms of handle material. It appears in the pictures to be some sort of dark, brushed metal, but it is in fact some kind of soft coating that looks a lot worse than pictured.
