Toupons Canvas Travel Duffel Bag Mens Weekender Overnight Bag (Coffee)

I haven’t used it yet, but it looks just like what I wanted to replace an old duffle that had ripped after years of use. This one is a little heavier than my old one but should stand up better. I like the extra pockets. Also it’s expansion capability. We will see how well it does.

I bought this Canvas travel duffle bag to go visit with in laws but it came a day late so I haven’t used it yet. I can say the look, feel, color and sturdiness are great.

Sturdy and washable

This is a preliminary review based on having just received my bag and not having used it yet. I will update after some use. I needed four bags for hauling an assortment of items to and from trade shows. I selected these based on the description and reviews. My preference was for black bags but the difference between the “Toupons Travel Duffel Bag for Men & Women 47L Overnight Weekend Bag (Black-New)” and the “Toupons Canvas Travel Tote Luggage Mens Weekender Duffle Bag, Black” was not clear, so I ordered one of each for evaluation, intending to return one and order three more of the better (for my purposes) bag. The two bags were identical in style. Both were solid black in color but different fabrics. The “black” bag was made of what appears to be cotton canvas and the “black-new” bag was made of what appears to be a heavy nylon material. According to the seller the “black-new” bag is “water-resister material.” I did not want to have to research and purchase bags again in a couple of months, so after reading the negative reviews I inspected my bags very carefully upon receipt. Both bags appeared well made. Both were fully lined. All seams were bound and there were no raw fabric edges. All zippers on both bags were size 10 coil zippers. I was impressed by the number of zippered pockets. In addition to the expandable large center compartment there were two decent sized pockets – one on each end, two pockets on the front, one pocket on the back, and one inside the main compartment on the back – all zippered. There were also two open pockets inside the main compartment on the front. I preferred the appearance of the canvas fabric over the nylon, but decided that the nylon was more practical for my purposes. I ended up returning the “black” bag and ordering three additional “black-new” bags.

Very well made bag..very roomy and many compartments sleeves. I never know what to get my husband, this was a perfect gift since he travels for work occasionally. He LOVED IT!!

I like that its durable and has enough space for long travels or short ones. Looks professional.

Bought this bag for a trip to Philly for a night, and it fit enough luggage for me and my gf, slippers and all. The bag itself is light, although very sturdy and well-made. The fabric is a slightly water-resistant fabric that is thick enough for water to not seep in (it was a rather rainy day), and all my luggage stayed dry. Zippers are thick and not flimsy, and slides easily across. Numerous compartments to store stuff in, and can be zipped up to be smaller or unzipped to be wider. The strap feels comfortable, and is easy to adjust and remove. The bottom of the bag has rubberized spike-patterned squares on all 4 corners so you can place it down without getting it dirty. Overall a great bag, very durable but light, and looks absolutely wonderful.

I purchased this duffel bag to replace one that is too small for all my stuff. I use it for a cosmetic bag when traveling and it holds all my toiletries plus brushes and combs, 2 curling irons, hair dryer, phone adapter, hand held mirror, undies, a pair of flip flops, and there is still room for more. And thats without using the extenders. I put some cardboard in it (one piece that supports the sides and bottom) and also a plastic type storage container (no lid) that fits the bottom perfectly and will keep any spills or leaks from getting on the fabric. Great price and I expect it to last a long time.

I was car traveling for a long trip, and my wife has a nice set of luggage. I have been making do with an old carry on piece that is now 30 years old. I needed more room for clothes, as we on an extended trip and I wanted as much of my small clothes as I could pack, as well as shirts and jeans. I found this, and do not regret the purchase at all! Seems durable, and shows no wear after 40 days of travel. I recommend it for those who do not need anything fancy, but need to have something to hold their stuff!

Worked well as a carry on while flying and is durable. The zipper is a bit cheap and the zipper teeth don’t line up in some spots. No doubt this will eventually cause a zipper failure, but worked well for a weeks vacation.
