> 3 dayI honestly have never used them. I bought them to put in my cars so if it rains I will have something to keep me dry. All I can say for sure is that I bought the purple ones, they are lovely, and the mechanism is smooth...They open and close easily. They are not overly heavy. They are definitely the right size to fit either in the door of the car, or in a small organizer box in the trunk.

> 3 dayI bought these umbrellas because of their high marks here, and I was very surprised to find just how bad they were. It wasnt just one issue, either. - They are extremely fragile. Both of my umbrellas broke in similar ways. I leaned one against a wall. It slid over, and the button broke off, making it impossible to open/close. The other fell off my lap, and the top broke into pieces. Both were unusable within a few weeks of being bought. - Even from the start, they were not sturdy and would be blown around by the wind. They turned inside out very easily. They also werent sealed well, and rain would drip through onto my head when using them. - They are quite difficult to lock into a closed position, although this would be forgivable if not for the dealbreakers I already listed. I dont know why my experience seems to be so much worse than others, but these are probably the worst umbrellas Ive bought. A total waste of money.

> 3 dayAfter having gone through several junk umbrellas that werent as advertised, we bought two of these from TradMall based on other reviews. The umbrellas are very high-quality with fine construction. They work perfectly. Theyre large when open, but fold into a small, easily carried item. The construction is robust - 10 strong fiberglass ribs instead of 6 or 8, beautifully designed and comfortable handle. And they come with a lifetime free replacement warranty. I highly recommend these. TradMall does business the old fashioned way, and well buy from them again.

> 3 dayI like these umbrellas at first glance. They are easy to open and seem to have strong spines. The umbrellas were a little heavier than I expected I am assuming because of the extra spines. Probably my biggest complaint right now is that they are hard to close.

Greater than one weekI bought these in March. Used it once by June. I injured myself and had to stay inside for 16 weeks. The umbrella was sitting on the backseat of my very clean car until November when on a rainy morning I grabbed it, retired to open it and found the plastic that holds the whole assembly in the handle was broken. Was it the Central Florida heat? Im the only one who had used the car, so it wasnt thrown around. My fiancee has used hers a dozen times (2 pack) with no issue. I wasnt in the mood to try to finagle another one. I work 7 days a week and just felt aggregated about it. Maybe the plastic was flawed, but why make that important piece out of plastic? Id pay more. I like the design. Anyway, be aware its a dice roll

Greater than one weekI loved these at first-especially that it opens and closes at the push of a button but no worth it in the long run. I bought these in the spring and its been a very dry year so Ive hardly had to use them. Both were broken by the end of July. They didnt even break because of the weather. The first one broke because the button fell off when my husband went to use it and he couldnt get it to close. The second ones cap on the top of the umbrella came off which is apparently essential to the opening function when you push the button to open it. I can get it to work but I have to squeeze the top and push the button now to get it to open. In my opinion, definitely not worth the money.
