This is my first matching set of travel luggage from Travelpro although I do own a different Travelpro suitcase that I use extensively. That bag has traveled all over with me over the past 6 years and still looks and performs almost like new. >> Design: This hardshell matching set is perfect for a small family like mine (mom, dad plus two kids). Im writing this review while on a late summer family vacation in Florida where we used the Travelpro set to hold the bulk of our clothing. The Travelpro luggage looks great; Im especially a fan of the white color of our luggage which not only looks sharp but is easier to spot in a busy airport baggage carousel. Theres a TSA-approved lock if youre inclined to lock your luggage included in each suitcase. Instructions for setting the code are included inside each bag. A retracting handle is built into each bag and releases with the press of a button. Each bag also features an expansion compartment thats enabled with a zipper to give you a few extra precious inches of storage space. >> Performance: The suitcases glide almost effortlessly across varied surfaces including concrete, tile, and carpeting. Even the large suitcase laden with all of our clothes was easy enough for my 9-year-old son to push around without struggle. The interior of each suitcase features compartments to keep your clothes and contents secure. The top of each bag has locking elastic bands. The bottom compartment has a zippered compartment to keep everything secure. >> Thoughts on Durability: Ive read a few reviews questioning the durability of these suitcases. I cant say I agree. Admittedly, Im on my first trip with these bags but theyve given me no pause or reason to question their durability. Everything from the zippers, to the outer shell, is well-made. >> Closing: Im confident that the Travelpro Runway 2 suitcases will hold up just as well as my other Travelpro bag. These are well-made, attractive suitcases designed for the traveler in mind. These are fantastic suitcases! Recommended!

Overall a pretty nice product. I really wanted to try a hard sided luggage and knew of TravelPro’s reputation for durability and quality Takes getting used to as packing items is now split in half vs more traditional zipping a flap. Buyers beware that the zipper will skip teeth and become open while trying to close case . This happened to me several times from the first time using. Had to slowly try to reopen and then close suitcase to make sure that the zipper teeth stayed closed. Time will tell if this will be my go to piece as right know I’m not sure.

Talk about quality, durability and overall craftmanship that is knocking it out of the park? Well this does not disappoint! This is what I am talking about for luggage. Get them please! I am so happy I did!!

My zippers broke several times during the course of one trip. I packed my luggage and even opened the extender so it wouldn’t have too much pressure on the zippers. My luggage was also less than 50 pounds so I know it didn’t over pack, but several times throughout my trip I had to unzip and rezip my luggage because the zipper opened where it’s not supposed to. Save your money and buy something else

These are attractive and capacious. In fact the big one can hold almost more than I can lift. Both are divided into two equal sized halves, which is better than almost all capacity on one side. It is easier to get to what you packed on the bottom. There are double-wheeled rollers at each corner. You can roll them either straight up or on a slant. There is a handle on top and another at the side, making it easier to maneuver into cargo space. Heavy duty zippers close the suitcase. There is another zipper on the large one that allows it to expand to hold more. Well-designed and quite functional. And they are attractive too.

I had ordered this set of cases a minute or two ago. It actually took about 4 weeks for the set to arrive, but I am impressed with this set. I have had several sets of samsonite hard sided luggage, which I had paid about the cost for these two for a single smaller case. These are very well made and the interior zippered sections in both the large and smaller carry on case, are well thought out and quite spacious. The large case actually has an expansion zone in the middle, so you can really go past the weight limit for checked bags, but having travelled for decades, this is super handy and saves you buying another suitcase on your trip. I have literally been there and done that. The light color of these cases are very nice and appealing today, but we will see how long that remains so pristine. I believe that the finish is a little bit more of a matte finish, so I am expecting it to scuff on every black rubber luggage handling belt out there, but we shall see. The wheels on these and the handling of these are actually far superior to my Samsonite cases. The wheels are a little larger and they are very free spinning right now. The handles also are well designed and feel very comfortable in the hand. Both cases come with the TSA approved zipper locks, which are a nice feature. I would always use that when traveling to tuck my things back into and lock the zippers for the day. All in all, I am super impressed with this set and the total value for what you are getting here. Zippier broke immediately at airport and it was very difficult to carry suitcase! Of course, the return policy has ended so now we have a piece of garbage that needs to be thrown out! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This set of luggage is so chic. My first impression is that it was white, but on closer inspection it appears to be a very lovely set of cream colored baggage with a smoky fog interior. Like most modern luggage it has the TSA approved locking system (please refer to website to reset from the factory standar 0-0-0) and it has a an extra long handle. I cant really say if the handle is that much longer than other luggage, but it seemed that way to me. The smaller matching carry on piece can actually fit inside of the bigger case. Also, ,y large floofy cat was able to fit into the luggage and the zipper was so strong and sturdy she needed help to escape. The inside of the luggage has straps and mesh to keep your carefully packed clothing from shifting around into a wrinkled ball and expandable nature means that extra large package of souvenirs ill now just barely fit instead of needing an extra bag to carry them.

Has a lock on it so you dint have to worry about strangers going through it! Very spacious and high quality. Definitely great for traveling. Traveling by plane? Atleast you can recognize your luggage a mile away! I havent seen a single soul with bags like these. They glide across the floor so graciously , absolutely love!

My wife loves these suitcases. Just the fight sizes and light.
