It’s easy to add, after the 15 minute warm up I noticed a difference in the sound of the motor after starting also have hit the 500 mile mark and it’s stayed the same so what I can say is it improved the sound of the motor but it’s not a fix all people expect to much from the product but it works just don’t expect a new motor by adding an oil additive

I treated my wifes 2002 Hybrid Prius with 160k miles on it and we both noticed that the engine is much quieter now. The car still runs on the original battery which results in higher engine loads and yields around 35 MPG on highway. I hope this treatment will significantly extend the life of the engine because my wife really loves her car.

I have a 2001 Subaru Outback with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder and the last couple of years the drivers side head has been clattering and has been getting worse as time goes by. To the point where I was giving thoughts of selling the car or getting the engine rebuilt. I thought well what the heck maybe I can look into some oil additives to quite it down until at least next spring and I might try to rebuild it myself to save money. I stumbled upon Tribo TEX on Amazon and read the specs and reviews and even though this stuff is not cheap I gave it a shot. So I changed the oil and filter even though it was not due just because it made sense to me. (By the way I recommend maybe mixing it up with say a quarter quart oil before squeezing it into the oil filler neck and maybe heating the oil and Tribo TEX in the micro wave or pan on the stove until it dissolves together. I changed the oil at 40 degrees outside and had some issue with the Tribo TEX sticking to the filler neck.) I ran the car at idle on jacks for about an hour while I looked for an anti freeze leak, and then finished up and parked it in my detached garage overnight. I drove the car the next day about 23 miles and I already have noticed a big difference. Not only has the noise become a lot quieter but I believe it has more get up and go, and it seems to be running smoother. Now two days later I started the car this morning and the outside temp was about 15 degrees, the engine did clatter at first but quieted down pretty quickly and I now have about 50 miles on it since adding the Tribo TEX. The literature says it takes 500 miles before it is completely through all the bearing surfaces properly. So my opinion is this stuff is appearing to be worth the money and I am already discussing putting it in my wifes car, my 6.0 liter turbo diesel truck, and my big block V8 7.3 liter boat engine.

I used Tribotex to quiet a slight lifter tick. After a few days the lifter noise was gone. Then, after a few weeks I noticed the dripping rear main had stopped. Very impressed. Changing a rear main on a C-6 Vette is not a any bargain. Thanks Turbotex!

I have a 2007 Silverado with the 6.0 engine. Lately the thing has had a lifter tick when first started. Yesterday I added the TriboTex and poof its gone. A+ Update- We got over 12 inches of snow yesterday. Had to go to work this morning and it was 28 degrees. Went to go start the truck and NOT A SINGLE LIFTER TICK! This is some good s hit.

I was super hesitant to buy Tribotex. I have been following this company for a while now. You know 100 bucks for something that you don’t know will work or not and there is no way to return it if you are not satisfied with the result. More importantly, what if this messes up the engine. It’s point of no return. I have an FJ cruiser 2012 and I have already crossed 130k. Lately, the engine started to sound weird. It’s like, I could feel engine with soar throat every time I started the engine. I could feel that engine was dragging a bit, like sluggish. I was just at the point of selling it but then I thought why not just give Tribotex a shot and to be honest I love everything about FJ. I change engine oil and I pumped in Tribotex engine. I mean almost instantly my engine was sounding better, driving better. For while I have been in denial. I feel like it’s new engine oil but it’s obviously not the first time I changed oil. Lol. I have covered few hundred miles since I have used Tribotex and as per the company the formula will kick-in after 500 miles and honestly I can’t wait. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. I am already thinking about getting even transmission treated. I surely recommend this product well run vehicles.

This stuff is great! Engine in my 06 Charger SRT8 started running smoother just 40 miles after adding it to the oil!

I’m 20 miles into my 500 miles, and already I can tell a pretty significant difference. I’ve got a 2007 Subaru Legacy GT SpecB (turbo charged) I use amsoil regularly, on top of this, has made for a “new feeling” car. Right from the get go I notice it feels more awake, and it does coast better, and as far as quieter, not sure. I’ve got a loud exhaust. MPG is to be determined, power gain, there’s definitely some revived power.

Ill admit initially I was a skeptic, at $99.00, I was expecting snake oil in a fancy package that had little to no effect on my cars performance. I cannot believe how wrong I was. I used this on my 1986 BMW 325es that was running on its last leg. It smoked, burned oil, got terrible fuel economy (23 HWY, ~18 CITY) and was very loud. I had zero expectations for this product and thought trying this seemed better than driving it to the scrap yard. I dont know if it was a placebo effect but I almost immediately noticed an improvement in my cars performance. It was quieter than before, less engine noise. The most drastic change was the 100-200 mile where the car steadily decreased the amount of smoke coming out of the exhaust. After 300 miles, the smoke was gone, and I checked my fuel economy on a highway trip and had it at 31 MPG. Count me a TriboTEX fan! I have never used a oil additive that had results, let alone the results I achieved with a tube of this. Definitely will purchase again!

Not snake oil. This product has saved me many Thousands of dollars avoiding an engine change. Had what I believe was gauling on a cam bearing or journal that made a bad chirping noise. After about 300 miles with TriboTex in the engine, noise has gone away, and performance has improved noticeably. Will purchase this again and recommend to friends.
