> 3 dayHave used this product for several years without issue. There may be other tax software out there, but with TurboTax, I know how it is laid out and how it operates. When I upgraded to the iPad, I now use the app version which syncs with the cloud and my desktop. I would recommend this item.

> 3 dayI have been using Turbo Tax since 2005 and it has been so helpful in doing my taxes. It guides you through every aspect of your taxes. It is EASY-PEASY.I love that it asks so many questions to get the most legal deductions possilbe. It also flags possible questions on deductions. I love the optional services of my taxes being reviewed by an expert.

> 3 dayI have used TurboTax for several years now. This years software keeps suddenly interrupting the process with leagal jargon wordingsI have zero clue about how to answer correctly. This never happened in prior years that I have used this product. My trust in whether I am doing my taxes right has just gone WAY downhill with TurboTax, since now I have to answer so many questions that have weird technical questions with words I do not even understand. Even if I go to the Forms View, I cannot make out what I should be answering the questions like. Sad but true. :-(

> 3 dayI purchased TT 2010, cheap, in late 2012 and entered my accountant generated data, for a test of TT against my accountant. Turbo Tax came out with the same tax, which was the upside. The downside was, I qualified for two credits that TT would not allow, I put them elsewhere, just for test purposes, but TT would not allow the override of those fields. If this had not been a test, TT would have caused me more tax. I will be trying this again with 2011 tax year returns.

05-06-2025Ive used TurboTax for about 6 years. Its generally a great time saving product. Every year it gets slightly better but it doesnt change much. When your situation is quite complicated you may need to do some additional research but this is always obvious when TuboTax fails to ask about something youve done. This has come up twice in the six years and I have always found out how to enter the information correctly with little complication. This year I switched from Windows to mac. I couldnt be happier about the easy transition. I moved my 2009 data file from the pc to the mac. I installed TurboTax on the mac. I started TurboTax and it immediately found the 2009 file. Doesnt matter where you put it on the mac. TT finds it and its 100% compatible. All my info was ready to go for 2010!

> 3 dayMy second year using this product. It is very easy to use, very intuitive, you can have it interview you or if you have decent tax knowledge you can navigate thru it yourself. I like the automatic downloading of your W2, 1009 data from its partners like ADP. The e-file is also easy and reliable, and if you use it in successive years it automatically accesses last years information and populates common fields and allows you to edit them if you wish. Well worth the money.

> 3 dayThe Vendor: Fantastic price. Took 3 days to arrive in the mail. The Product: Installed with no problems. I was worried that I would have to pay when I printed or that there would be an issue with activation. No activation, no issues. I have been using TT since 2006. Every year I install the program and import last years tax return data *.tax2009, *.tax2010, *.tax2011, and so on. Then I update the figures. Especially for my 1099 Schedule C Income from my side business activities and now I export from TD Ameritrade a *.txf (Tax eXchange Format) and pull all the trades right into TT. No more individual entries for the 1099-B.

Greater than one weekProduct is Great. I would give it a 5 if not for price. I started out with the product years ago when it was a low cost option. While it is not so inexpensive these days, it is still my choice.

Greater than one weekI used TaxACT (TA) first for a tax assignment and then used TurboTax (TT) to compare and contrast - about 2 months ago. Back then, TT seemed a little bit more user-friendly than TA. I recall the language of TT was simpler, and the interface was nicer and simpler than TA. Overall, the impression I left with was that TT was simpler to use than TA.
