I bought these for my deck in early summer 2021 and never quite got around to bringing them in at the end of the season. All year long as night fell—through the scorching summer heat, during the torrential rains and powerful winds of autumn, through the ice and snow and subzero temperatures of a brutal New England Winter, through the spring and its many false starts—the twinkling of these lovely amber stars glittered on my deck for hours. Hours! Now it is the summer of 2022. Its been the hottest I have ever experienced here in New Hampshire. The lights remain around the deck railing, exposed to the elements and wildly fluctuating temperatures. The stars still twinkle, lovely as ever. A product created by mere mortals would have warped by now, or maybe just fallen apart due to the severe neglect. These are something else. Seriously. I wonder if I tried to cut through them if I even could. I dont think it would work. I wonder if I put the solar panel deep under the earth, where no sunlight could reach it, it would inexplicably still glow each night. I think it would.

These are waterproof and can be placed outside that gets a lot of sunlight.

these are pretty BUT they tangle easily. additionally, they do not connect with any other lights.

I strung these around my 5 yr old granddaughters canopy bed. She loved it and said her bed is a princess bed. She shows it off to everyone. Such a simple thing for so much happiness.

I use these outside on a bare tree and they look beautiful. Lovely and bright with a very nice lighting pattern.

These lights have a very nice level of brightness and are very cute, BUT the steady-on setting is 8 clicks down on the button (rather than the first setting) and it has no memory function. Meaning, if you plug it in to a timer it will turn on every evening to the practically seizure-inducing combination, the first setting , which cycles through all the chasing, flashing, fading and twinkling settings in order. I pity my neighbors. To recap: the product would be better if the Steady-On (arguably the most used setting) was the first/default setting, OR there was memory component that kept it set to the last setting.

While these lights are very pretty they dont last. I bought my first set late January 2022. They stopped working early by end of July. I bought a 2nd set Early August and they have stopped working again.

I like the star shaped lights yet it takes about 7 settings later to get to the still setting. The still setting should be first, then the other more blinking ones should follow.

I like how lights work, their color. Some of the stars were falling off the light bulbs, but you can put them back easily.
