Greater than one weekI bought this for my son-in-law who is a chemical engineer and a new Dad. They fit the purpose as a gag gift, but I think they are too expensive.

> 3 dayThey look lovely. I bought them for my 1 year old. Colors are a little muted compared to the sale photo but I like them.

Greater than one weekAfter 4 years, these blocks still look great. They are well-made and colorful, so the kids still love them. Since they are slightly bigger than classic alphabet blocks, they make a great foundation for whatever building the kids are creating. The periodic table info really isnt for the kids. But, they do ask questions, so they are learning some of the elements are from repetition and memorization. Maybe thatll make o-chem a tiny tiny bit easier in 10-15 years.

> 3 dayGave this set to my niece who has three little ones and used to teach school. She was ecstatic about them and eager to play with them at home with the kids. Right now, kids are too small to really get into the periodic table, but they are the perfect size to play with blocks. Parents were looking forward to introducing them to concepts that will be important as they get older. And both parents were excited to learn more about he periodic table as well!

> 3 dayLet’s be honest, these are more for the adults than the kids but they are still worth it. Bought for a toddler & he LOVED the colors, weight of the blocks and the nice deep sound made by tapping the blocks together. He actually plays with these over his traditional (lame) alphabet blocks. Plus, the adult drinking game potential here is endless... after the kid goes to bed, of course.
