Update: I cancelled return. After playing with I find this a good product except for no USB drivers and software are not available. Easy to program and find the local search very useful. When I go to website stated in manual it says not found. When I look around there is NO app available as stated in manual and product description. What I do find says for Vista, OMG, what, that’s 20 years old? Bottom line, NO APP SUPPORT! Might be good product if you you don’t care about drivers or apps, I can’t say. Returning be a cause above review.

It’s not to hard to learn how to use if you read the directions. Picked up signals from at least a few mile radius with no additional modifications inside of an Aluminum sided home. I would invest in rechargeable batteries as an 8 hour use and you will need a new set.

Scanner kept jumping back to the weather during the race.

I bought this a few months back and I still have a difficult time saving channels and navigating the radio.

The scanner itself is solid and easy to program. Have not tried the downloadable programming software because it is easy enough manually. I live in the suburbs and find the stock rubber ducky antenna to be inadequate for pulling in signals. A mobile antenna and a better rubber ducky have made a world of difference. Im sure this wouldnt be a problem in more urban areas. Good audio as well.

it works the pc programing need more help

The one thing we dont like about it is the display light doesnt stay lit long enough otherwise a great product.

The unit was delivered in all lockout mode and despite my attempts to change the function I am unable to at all. when I contacted customer support on two separate occasions I never received a response and I am still stuck with a paperweight piece of crap. I even watched YouTube video but mine won’t work as the demo does. Terrible
