The one that I received was pretty well made without some of the complaints that others have made. Were using it for a sewing box and its perfect for that application, lots of space and storage nooks and crannies.

I do Pyrography art and this will be great for tool storage. For the price you really cant beat it

Finally a box that can hold 8 1 ounce jars of my medication. Close the lid to keep THC degraging light out, throw some humidipacks in the jars and it lasts for months to years.

This was so nice, I give the first one to my mother as a gift. Then reordered myself one. Is a well made box. Good joint work and all around craftsmanship. This is not a cheap box or waste of money. I would of liked to do the finish myself. ( in Ebony ) The packaging was a nice box as well. Not much for protection, But it seemed to have a very stylish feel, even before I opened it. I am keeping my lost wax casting stuff in this . Silver, gold, wax and investment plaster, So this can hold a good amount of weight.

I am back to my art roots, oil painting once again and being a professional, buy the best quality paints. I wanted to store them in their own special container... the ritual of setting up to begin a piece is important for me. That works in reverse when cleaning up. Looked at antique boxes, dirty and overpriced, looked at Chauvin, expensive and no swooning reviews. This solves all for me. In time it will take on the colors of my studio.

We gave this as a gift to a 5 year old. He loves art and building things so this was a hit. He feels so big and we feel good because its going to be with him for a long time. The only caveat is the handle, though secure now, may not hold up to his lugging and tugging.

Love it. That said, the hinges make me a little nervous. I know one day they will hand in their notice and leave me with all of my paint stuff on the floor.

My wife who does drawing and pastels as a way to relax loved this gift to store her supplies. good quality art supplies are not cheap and this case keeps them safe from the kids and easy to find. The one we received was in excellent condition with no workmanship issues and my wife loved how she could move the dividers to fit her supplies. I had looked into plastic art boxes, but thought this added some class and looks better when sitting out in the house.

very well made for the price. well worth getting. The wood dividers can be removed in the bottom section
