US Art Supply Artist Wood Pastel, Pen, Marker Storage Box with Drawer(s) (Large Tool Box)

I destest plastic art boxes for plein air supplies because if they get dropped or petrochemicals leak, the box disintegrates or cracks. This wood box can stand the weight and is very sturdy while being compact. Holds a lot of art supplies easily and well.

Love it. Well made and well designed. It is exactly what I need for my various art supplies.

This is a well crafted artist storage box. It’s unfinished Beechwood which allows me to personalize it. The removable storage tray is a nice touch. It fits a little loosely so it might move around some in transport. The removable storage dividers allow you to customize the compartments to fit your need. One of the eight removable dividers I received will not fit this artist storage box. It’s cut just a hair too narrow. It falls out and can’t be used. This minor defect doesn’t affect my needs. I need a larger cutout space to store my paintbrushes. I didn’t contact US Art Supply to resolve this has it would have been removed by me any way. The left edge on the top side is roughly sanded. It needs to be smoothed slightly before being painted. This doesn’t affect me since I intend to paint this anyway. This is also only very minor and barely noticeable. It would be okay to leave as is but I wanted to include it as others had the same experience. This is a really nice box, very well crafted. My only complaint is the dimensions. The bottom section is not deep enough to store small jars of paint in an upright position.

This is okay. EXCEPT that the clasps in front broke after opening and closing the box twice. I’m just going to replace them myself, but be aware. The price is great, so I guess you get what you pay for?

Great boxes, I purchased three to use for my art supplies.

I needed storage for my acrylic paints and wanted something that matched my old storage box for my oil paint collection. This fit the bill and was much less expensive than anything at the art supply store. Great value for a sturdy box.
