Very cute design we got this for sun protection not so much for rain so it works very well. Love how it closes with the button it makes it easier for my daughter to use by herself

On first use the button broke and was rendered unusable. Very shoddy workmanship. There really isnt much else to say about it.

UV protected umbrella lived up to its name. Very Study and it served me well in hot Madrid, Spain.

We do a lot of traveling in hot areas and also live in the south. Perfect for protection.

I love nice weather but cannot be in the sun for a long time. Went to Disney with friends in July and I am soooo glad I bought this. Although it won’t make it cooler it does prevent nasty sunburns and reduce the amount of “cooking” You will experience from the direct sunshine. It was my life saver and now I bring it everywhere. I recently brought it to an outdoor concert and I had a lady ask if she could sit behind me to “steal” some of my shade. You can definitely notice a difference between having shade and not having shade.

I got this umbrella about 10days ago., after about 3days used one of the rib broke.

This is to replace an older one from another company. This one is heavier and can’t see myself bringing on the hikes I use my other one for. I wish the underside wasn’t black because it’s not a good color on my face.

The outer shell is just a very dark almost plastic like material. There is definitely no sun getting through this thing. It is great for what its purpose is for, to keep the sun off delicate skin! The open and close mechanism seems a little harsh and slams open and when you push the button again to close it snaps shut half way. Seems like something that is not going to hold up well over time. We shall see how long it last as time goes by and Im hoping my assessment is wrong and it stays serviceable for many years. UPDATE: In two weeks the first metal shaft has bent and the wrap pulled right out of the canopy which now has a hole in its place. I was hoping for better than two weeks when I originally reviewed the item. It was very diappointing and now I would say that I can not recommend this umbrella. Before you ask, it was not used in high wind and it was not smashed into anything that should have caused it to bend. My wife was using this and I guess she found some real strength to have the wrap get pulled out. If it doesnt hold up to normal use wrapping it up that is really bad. Glad it wasnt priced higher otherwise it would have hurt more. Dont know if it can be returned but if it can its going back and well try another brand. Ive had regular nylon umbrellas hold up longer than this one did!

Terrible! Opened and closed it exactly four times when it broke. I used the button every time as instructed. Hard to wrap the strap around it once its opened. Heavy. Bulky. Sad. I wanted this so much to be good. Returned.

This umbrella definitely helps protect from the suns humidity and heat.
