Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver 200ml Paint Set

This did what it’s supposed to do thinned out my paint to get a perfect flow threw my airbrush

Ive used it once, it works as advertised - I was surprised to discover it like a thick gel though.. and you must stir it a bit in the airbrush cup.

I just use Vallejo Flow Improver to thin Vallejo Model Air and Hataka Red Line acrylics. With my Eclipse HP-CS (.35mm), I go 1:1 (paint to Flow Improver) for base coating and 1:2 for camouflage and mottling. Key is to gradually build up the color. I get absolutely no tip dry with these ratios even in our arid desert environment. Let paint dry takes a bit longer but still significantly less than if using enamels . I no longer use Vallejo Airbrush Thinner with the Flow Improver since the Flow Improver alone does a better job at controlling and eliminating tip dry. Never had much luck with the Airbrush Thinner…causes way too much tip dry and clogging.

This really does make a difference when painting. One it helps with clean up, two it reduces clogs with the your needle, and three gives a nice even coat. I will never paint without it.

Always the first go-to to get a weird paint or mix to spray evenly without adding thinner. A few drops goes a long way.

Works as expected.
