I look forward to using this umbrella for college. It fits really well into my bag. It comes with a case for it, which gives me peace of mind in case I need to store it for a little time when wet. The single button to open the umbrella is one of the other reasons why I chose to purchase this product. UPDATE: 3/29/2020 This umbrella is great; however, after some uses, it has been starting to break down and become loose with strong winds.

I like the wind-proof and push button open and close features. The size of the umbrella when it is open is larger than most of that type.

I had the opportunity to use this umbrella for several days due to the crazy FL weather. It came with a strong, compact hard case. The umbrella is sturdy and provides adequate cover. I like the one button to open and close feature, it makes it easy to handle during the rain. The teflon coating is great for repelling water and fast drying. I’m impressed with this product and the long lasting quality.

This umbrella is definitely light weight. Holding grip is comfortable, comes with a fancy zipper hard case, and the button function to open and close it is fantastic. If you want a large umbrella to share two persons, this one is not as big as a golf umbrella. Folded size is too big for a purse though so I recommend to have it in your car for surprise showers.

I like the weight of the umbrella, not too heavy, but heavy enough that you arent afraid it will fly away with a gust of wind. Teflon coated means the water rolls right off and easy to keep clean. Wooden grooved handle easy to hold without slipping because it is grooved. Good coverage, stay dry during those torrential downpours. Easy open and close button right above the wooden handle. I would reccomend this to a friend or family member.

There is an anything I don’t like about it I love this umbrella and how is packed. They were put this together knew exactly what they were doing good job!

My VAN BEEKEN Umbrella arrived in a sleek, stylish carrying case, with yet another covering on the umbrella. I immediately tried it out by pressing the button to open it, which it did with ease. The canopy itself is lightweight, yet it feels tough and is well built with more than one type of material making up the ribs: springs, the metal, and etc. The retraction was employed with ease. I have a little difficulty pushing the umbrella down, but I suspect thats because it is new. I tried the umbrella out during my walk and I was amazed at the covering it provided from the sun. The next night in my city we had a storm wherein I could use my umbrella. It kept me dry while walking in the rain and held up against the winds. I also tried entering my vehicle with the umbrella, which did not go well for me (I got wet); but like most umbrellas there is just no easy way to maneuver getting in the car and closing the umbrella. Getting out of the car and opening the umbrella went very smoothly.

It works in windy weather great, never a problem. The only problem is a few of the tip broke off where the string goes thru on the end of the umbrella. If not for that, It would be a 5 star all the same!!

I use a lot of umbrella living in the tropics and this product is really one of the best I have encountered. Very well made, solid open/close action, really waterproof and above all weighs less than most. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the ridiculous way it is packed, what a waste. It arrives as a sturdy, super nice zipper box packed inside a good quality clear plastic sleeve, open it and inside is has another material sleeve, really? why the super nice zipper box? Why triple packed, people may keep the material sleeve but nothing else, just a huge waste.
