I had been looking for an umbrella that would fit inside my briefcase for a while. I found this umbrella that is small enough and very small weight but also repels water very well because it has a Teflon outer layer. Very satisfied.

Beautiful packaging, zipper hard case plus nice soft case. Folds tight and is small. Opens big and bold. Seems sturdy. Ill know more on the next really windy day.

This umbrella arrived in perfect condition on a perfect day to use it. Windy and rainy! The umbrella held up well in both wind and rain. Several times I had to use both hands to hold it and it very capably withstood the wind and kept me dry. Speaking of dry, when I shook the rain off, almost all the drops fell off, due to the Teflon coating, and was nearly dry to the touch. No dripping on the floor! I am completely satisfied with this well-made umbrella. And as a bonus, it comes with a nice carrying case!

The product is easy to use. I like the case that it came in. The umbrella was easy to open but was a little hard to close.

I havent used the umbrella in very high winds yet, but the build quality is definitely sturdy, and the whole thing looks sleek! The carrying case in addition to the umbrella sleeve is a great bonus! Handle is a little small, but this isnt really an issue for me.

This umbrella comes in a padded zippered capsule-shaped soft case which lends an upscale and stylish view to onlookers when it’s simply waiting for use in your car, home or office. When you unzip the case you find that the umbrella is swaddled in the usual waterproof cover most of us have seen before. But this umbrella is far from the usual. The smooth wood handle is not only beautiful with its tool engraved Van Beeken signature but the handle feels nice, natural and is easy to grip for small ladies’ hands like myself and the button is easy to push triggering the umbrella to open. I tested this umbrella out on our Florida vacation on a windy, rainy night was able to keep myself dry while walking around to get my toddler out of her car seat and the umbrella also resisted that dreaded wind hazard that promptly sends your umbrella to an early grave with its ability to turn your umbrella inside out.

My VAN BEEKEN Umbrella arrived in a sleek, stylish carrying case, with yet another covering on the umbrella. I immediately tried it out by pressing the button to open it, which it did with ease. The canopy itself is lightweight, yet it feels tough and is well built with more than one type of material making up the ribs: springs, the metal, and etc. The retraction was employed with ease. I have a little difficulty pushing the umbrella down, but I suspect thats because it is new. I tried the umbrella out during my walk and I was amazed at the covering it provided from the sun. The next night in my city we had a storm wherein I could use my umbrella. It kept me dry while walking in the rain and held up against the winds. I also tried entering my vehicle with the umbrella, which did not go well for me (I got wet); but like most umbrellas there is just no easy way to maneuver getting in the car and closing the umbrella. Getting out of the car and opening the umbrella went very smoothly.

I liked how it opens up completely with 1 button. That comes in handy when you have a lot of carry To close the umbrella completely is kind of difficult. I press the button for it to close then push it agaonst the wall to close it completely. I hope this is just difficult right now because its new. Its alot heavier than my other umbrellas though. Definitely not lightweight but extremely sturdy. It works really well during windy conditions as well!

This umbrella is definitely light weight. Holding grip is comfortable, comes with a fancy zipper hard case, and the button function to open and close it is fantastic. If you want a large umbrella to share two persons, this one is not as big as a golf umbrella. Folded size is too big for a purse though so I recommend to have it in your car for surprise showers.

The best umbrella in USA. What I really liked about it is automatic open and shutoff on the press of the button. Very useful when entering and getting out of car. When you enter into your car during rain, with one hand you can close it. That is very useful. Same thing when you get out of your car.
