> 3 dayThis umbrella was very nice to use. The push button open and close feature was easy to use. It has sufficient coverage in the rain. Only issue I didnt care for was the weight of it. But overall this umbrella is a very good product. I would recommend it to others. Update: less then a year later, its rusting, and I let it air dry open. The button had stopped working. Have to manually close it now which isnt easy to do. Im pretty disappointed in how long its lasted.

> 3 dayMy VAN BEEKEN Umbrella arrived in a sleek, stylish carrying case, with yet another covering on the umbrella. I immediately tried it out by pressing the button to open it, which it did with ease. The canopy itself is lightweight, yet it feels tough and is well built with more than one type of material making up the ribs: springs, the metal, and etc. The retraction was employed with ease. I have a little difficulty pushing the umbrella down, but I suspect thats because it is new. I tried the umbrella out during my walk and I was amazed at the covering it provided from the sun. The next night in my city we had a storm wherein I could use my umbrella. It kept me dry while walking in the rain and held up against the winds. I also tried entering my vehicle with the umbrella, which did not go well for me (I got wet); but like most umbrellas there is just no easy way to maneuver getting in the car and closing the umbrella. Getting out of the car and opening the umbrella went very smoothly.

Greater than one weekI think this Umbrella is a great investment. It is big enough to cover you and things if you are carrying them. It is also sturdy enough to hold up in high winds. The carrying case is a plus and is also very sturdy and well made. I am quite impressed overall.

Greater than one weekI was only able to use it in the rain which it held up great. its easy to open and close with no issues, just push the button to open or close. I dont know about it being wind proof as we have yet to have winds strong enough to see if it stand up or not. its very sturdy though and well made. the zip up sleeve fits it awesome and the harder case is great as well to protect it . the umbrella seems to keep its shape as well. no having a hard time getting the velcro to latch or excess what I called stretched out unbrella fabric sticking out. its definitely worth the price

> 3 dayUmbrella came in a really nice case. It is super easy to open, just a push if a button and it opens up and push the button again to close. It seems pretty sturdy and seems like it will stand up pretty well to strong winds (havent had a chance to test that portion out yet)

> 3 dayThis umbrella is definitely light weight. Holding grip is comfortable, comes with a fancy zipper hard case, and the button function to open and close it is fantastic. If you want a large umbrella to share two persons, this one is not as big as a golf umbrella. Folded size is too big for a purse though so I recommend to have it in your car for surprise showers.

> 3 dayA really cool concept, can close the umbrella with the touch of a button when getting into a car. Execution is lacking a bit, and the first umbrella I received stopped closing automatically after 3 attempts. I did get a prompt replacement after contacting the seller. The umbrella is fairly heavy duty, and looks like will be able to withstand significant wind. I carry it in my work backpack. Its not super compact or lightweight, but I expect it to last for many years. Deducting one star for quality control.

> 3 dayI use a lot of umbrella living in the tropics and this product is really one of the best I have encountered. Very well made, solid open/close action, really waterproof and above all weighs less than most. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the ridiculous way it is packed, what a waste. It arrives as a sturdy, super nice zipper box packed inside a good quality clear plastic sleeve, open it and inside is has another material sleeve, really? why the super nice zipper box? Why triple packed, people may keep the material sleeve but nothing else, just a huge waste.

> 3 day6/5/2019 My thoughts on my purchase of the Van Beeken Professional Umbrella The first thing that I noticed right away, was the zippered hard case the umbrella came in. And, much to my surprise, there was another softer case protecting the umbrella. The handle was wrapped in bubble pack to protect it, another plus. With a push of the button, it opened without a hitch. With a push of the button, it closed without a hitch. I have never had an umbrella that opens and closes with the push of a button. Umbrella’s I have owned in the past only closed when you had to fight with it while pushing down to close as I got rained on. So much for protection with that kind of umbrella. It happened to rain tonight with a considerable amount of wind. The umbrella held up beautifully. I highly recommend this umbrella.

Greater than one weekWhen I received my umbrella I was impressed by how nice looking it was, and how solid it felt. It was packaged beautifully and was just as the seller had described, that is, until I went to OPEN it! I pushed the button and the thing shot out of my hand across the room! If my cat had been there, he would have been seriously hurt! Ive never seen anything like it. Then I tried to close it. It closed on the second attempt. Thinking maybe it needed to loosen up some, I tried opening it again by pushing the button and it shot out of my hand again! This time, nothing I did would close the umbrella back down so I could put it into its original packaging! Im going to return it and hopefully wont have a problem with Kohls accepting it without it being in the original packaging! I would have loved it if it would have worked, but it was like the thing was on a tightly coiled spring! It could be dangerous.
