This was bought for a last minute, two week trip to Morocco, as my only luggage, for strictly carry-on purposes...it performed admirably! And on a recent car camping trip, it was successfully utilized as a backpack for an unplanned two-day backpacking trip in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. (Note to manufactured: four D rings sewn into the large back pocket corners would allow extras (like a sleeping pad) to be easily attached to the pack.) It has lots of zippered pockets (four of them still havent been used), and is comfortable to carry with the build in handles or the shoulder straps. It is constructed a bit more heavy-duty than I need, but its nice to know that it will survive many instances of being used as checked-in luggage as well. It is a well thought out, designed, and built piece of travel gear....recommended.

I ordered this backpack along with several others to do a boss-comparison. Thank goodness I did. I was reluctant to try this bag because it lacked features the others had, either a bottle holder or a USB charging port. All I can say it this bag was so much better in every way then the 5 other bags I tried, I can live without the bottle holder and charging port. The quality of this bag makes all the others look cheap. From the thickness of the fabric to the bulk of the zippers it’s head and shoulders above the rest. And all the extra pockets are a bonus. With all the extra room I can easily store a water bottle. It was stuffed and it still fit under my seat on United. I’ve only used it once so I can’t speak of its durability, but it definitely seems made to last.

    Greater than one week

It gets tiring at the airport, but throughout the Italy travel, it is so convenient to hop around airbnb to airbnb in hilly and lots of steps most of Italy. As a result, I would strongly recommend to use this backpack for Europe trip.

Okay so honestly the bag seems great. Easily fits a weekend worth of “ stuff.” Lots of well placed pockets and seems to be well made. I think what creeped me out a bit was when packing for our first trip using the bag…found someone else’s boarding pass. Obviously the bag had been used. Paid for new but got used.

Most backpacks that I had before, either came with bunch of different size sections and pockets which made it impossible to find what I was looking, or fewer sections, but if the thing I was looking for was at the bottom, I had to unload everything to get to it. This backpack solved both these flaws. It is built more like luggage suitcase than backpack, but it sits comfortable when carried as backpack. It has couple of pockets, for things like chargers or liquids, section that would fit laptop or something like that, and the rest of it is one big space for everything else. I just got back from our European trip where we moved 7 times between different hotels and apartments, and packing/unpacking this backpack really took very little time. Also because it doesnt have all of those useless sections and fancy pockets, it is very spacious. There is option to expand it, but I didnt have the need to do that. Materials used, stitching and zippers appear durable enough. So far I dont see any wear and tear issues. If you are flying budget airlines, obviously it is bigger than they allow to carry on for free, but in my experience they rarely measure if what I am carrying is reasonably small, and this backpack is reasonably small looking. So far I flew 3 times on budget airlines and it was fine. My ONLY complaint, it doesnt have a pocket for water bottle.

I took this on a recent trip to Italy. My wife and I agreed that since we were going to be moving around the country every few days by train, it made sense to pack light. I combined this bag with some packing cubes and was able to easily fit more than a week’s worth of clothes, an extra pair of shoes, toiletries, a laptop, and all the relevant wires and accessories. My wife opted for a roller bag and regretted it when she had to pull it across rough streets while dodging insane drivers in Rome and Naples. This bag was easy to pack, rested comfortably when carrying it, and was a breeze in security.

This replaced my dufflebag/gym bag I use to have to use for trips. I got tired of carrying it around and just wanted to be able to walk around. Plus with me flying I never know if I’m going straight to the hotel room or out for a bite to eat. Carrying a backpack is a lot more easier and appealing than carrying a duffel bag at a restaurant. I am 5’7 and weigh 289 lbs. I purchased this for a bachelor party I was going to. It was able to fit 3 days worth of clothes. Baggage contained 1 polo shirt and 2 t shirts all XXL. 3 jeans 42x30. 3 underwear and 3 under shirts along with 3 pairs of socks. After all that I still had room so I tossed in my Nintendo switch case plus charger plus my game case. My iPhone charger a small bottle of pomade for my hair toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and on my return I added a few shot glasses along with 2 more t shirts. I would recommend army roll for your t shirts. Once you learn it (YouTube worked for me) takes you a few minutes to get 3-5 t shirts ready and compressed enough to fit everything in even more spaciously then I had. I did the generic folding of my items and rolled the jeans.

Lots of room. This backpack is the same size as my carryon suitcase and I had no problems using it as my 2nd item aka personal item. I didn’t fill it to max capacity or expand the bag and I used the buckles to compress as much as possible. It fit perfect under the seat. #southwest It does stick out a little but it wasn’t a problem. I sat across from someone with a dog carrier and it came out just as far.

I have only used the bag for one trip so far and it was excellent. It was comfortable to wear, held plenty of stuff, and I didnt have any problems with my suitcase falling over while Im fumbling for my ID or boarding pass. Time will tell on the durability but seems well made. I like that theres a zipper for some expansion. Only negative is that it has little form on its own. Its sewn to be rectangular so if you pack it full it takes that shape for the most part. Would be nice to have removable inserts to give it some shape when what Im packing doesnt really give a nice rectangular shape.
