> 24 hourRecommend to me by my allergist in 2016, as of 2021 this is still the only lotion or cream that I will use for as long as it’s still made.

> 24 hourRecently I’ve noticed my mom showing up in the mirror- specifically her rosacea. I have very dry skin, don’t wear make up and have never taken great care of my skin, and at 48, it’s starting to show. I feel like in five days since I’ve started using this along with a thin layer of benzoyl peroxide that the rosacea has improved significantly. I slather it on currently and it feels sticky after a while, but hey, we’re not supposed to be touching our faces, right?

> 24 hourThe fact that it comes in a tub is a plus because it is easier to use and eliminates waste. It is very helpful with my newly developed eczema. The only issue is that when you are covering your entire body you can go through a tub in a hurry, and it becomes very expensive. This one criticism is of course true of all such products. Recommended! B.K.

> 24 hourI recently got contact dermatitis and this helped calm and moisturize my irritated, dry skin. It is fragrance free, thick enough to easily apply. I love the jar so I can grab as much as I need to put on the irritated areas.

> 24 hourI will say that this product moisturized my face very well. Its a bit sticky but personally I did not mind it at all. What really made me dislike this product was the atrocious smell. The moisturizer I got smelled like rotten milk. I had gotten to a point where putting this on my face would make me gag. Perhaps this is a defect product.. and I hope it is because I think its a good moisturizer aside from the terrible smell. However, this is my second purchase of Vanicream moisturizers and both of them had that same nasty smell, so my track record with Vanicream moisturizers isnt great at all.

> 24 hourI am absolutely in love with this product. I will forever have it in my home. It has helped SO MUCH with my toddler’s eczema. We put a Manuka lotion on first, let it dry, then this, then Aquapher and within 5 days, it’s breaking her eczema cycle. I had some dry skin on my face and this helped with that too. I’m soooo happy I found this and 100% credit it with helping her eczema. If you struggle with dry skin or eczema, GET THIS LOTION!

> 24 hourAll the Vanicream products are fantastic. And Ive tried Every.Single.Skin.Product there is - natural, organic to items like CeraVe and (of course) Cetaphil. Nothing has been as effective and as great for my skin as Vanicream. I now tell all my siblings about it in Canada. HIGHLY recommend.

> 24 hourIt’s fine. A bit stickier as you apply compared to cerave, but it goes away as cream absorbs into the skin. I usually buy Cerave but wanted to try vanicream since everybody recommends it as a cheaper alternative. Well, it wasn’t cheaper really. And as I understand doesn’t have ceramides and other good stuff that Cerave has. It smells a bit off to me too. If it was $9 instead of $13 I would say it’s a good alternative. But a buck or two (or in case of a coupon -$0 ) dollars difference doesn’t make it a worthy contestant. CeraVe is nicer in terms of texture, almost no smell compared to Vanicream moisturizer, and has ceramides.

> 24 hourMy daughter has extremely sensitive, dry skin with red bumps and a rash. Shes been diagnosed with keratosis pilaris, which is kind of like eczema. We have tried every prescription and over the counter cream available. The only thing that ever worked well was Aquaphor, but she doesnt like the greasy feel and has started to refuse to have it applied. After some research, I tried Vanicream. I also bought California Baby Hair and Body Wash for Super Sensitive Skin. The combination of these two (which Ive only been using for a week now) has been amazing. Her legs feel smoother and softer than they have since she was a baby -- literally. Love this product.
