I usually buy the off brand products for most things. These havent disappointed us. We have several air purifiers throughout the house to help with allergens and its amazing to see how much is in the filters. I regularly vacuum them to help extend the life of the pre filters and the HEPA filters. These work just as well as the name brand. Will continue to purchase as long as price stays right.

These Veva HEPA filters + black prefilters were recommended to me by a family member, who has 4 Germ Guardian room air purifiers, as an alternative , here on Amazon, to Germ Guardians expensive refills. The price is very good, great, in fact, if, like I did, you can find an additional discount here on Amazon on one of the days youre shopping! Price is also very good day by day on AMZ. I find both the VEVA HEPA + included prefilters do an adequate job in filtering out dust + the allergens I was hoping they would filter due to my allergies of stuffy nose/nasal drip, particularly in the morning in my bedroom. I say adequate. To be honest, I was expecting more relief even with the initial Germ Guardian filters which came with our four units but was willing to be patient after purchasing 4 of the expensive Germ Guardian air purifiers. Lots of dust in bedrooms even those cleaned weekly, particularly those which have a TV or other electronic equipment which attract dust. In all cases, the black prefilter collected lots of white dust, like snow, covering the entire filters, both OEM and the Vevas. I vacuumed these prefilters weekly. Love the price of the Vevas but, I saw they are of a different filtering material than the Germ Guardian black prefilter - more like felt than mesh - Ive noted, that the Veva filter does, indeed, trap LOTS of bedroom dust and other stuff as showing on the filter but that filter seems to be more like a felt fabric than the original Germ Guardian filter and so, I am unable to totally vacuum out that white dust weekly from the Veva that I was able to vacuum from the G.Guardian. Maybe why VEVA sends additional black filters? The VEVA felt holds that filtered dust and wont let go. I just tried to reverse that filter and will see how it goes. Maybe the fact that that felt fabric clogs with the dust is a good sign? Its doing its job? Most likely. In any event, VEVA includes several additional black filters along with our order of the HEPA filter so I may just decide to discard the clogged filter earlier rather than vacuuming it and insert a new filter and stop being concerned about what VEVAs black prefilter is made of! VEVAs price is very good. Performance, as to a top quality room air purifier filter goes? Their black filters clog like a mat. Thats most likely very good! Theyre doing their job. So, Ill more freq. discard the clogged filter and xchange with a new one. VEVA is smart to include several with your shipment. Id definitely suggest giving VEVA HEPA filters + their black prefilters a trial here with Amazon. See how they work for you. Ive decided to change my VEVA prefilters more often, after reviewing my comments in my review here, and hope, Ill stop sniffling so much in the morning when I get up out of bed.

I have been buying filters individually at twice the price. This is a good deal, especially when everything is going up in cost.

Ive used these now for several years. Finally sitting down to write this, as you cannot go wrong with these. They send you several charcoal filters along with the main filter, so you have extra vs other companies that force you to buy even more. And they seem higher quality vs other companies too. Its really helped me with my breathing issues. I dont regret my purchases for one moment.

I have tried 4 different brands for my 4 air purifiers because replacements from the manufacturer is so expensive. This brand lasts the longest, I can feel the different in my air quality compared to other brands and love the price. As long as you change out the carbon covers over filters every 30 days one filter will last 6 months with still great air quality. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, lots of pet hair and dander, not to mention Im allergic to all 4 and a lot of environmental allergies, I cannot breath without these filters.

This filter is a about half the price of the original filter, however it does include four carbon pre-filters per replacement filter rather than Germguardians single. The two fit fine in the air filter, just like the original. However, one concern I have is that the filter has 1/2 or maybe 1/3 of the number of pleats as the original. I dont have the equipment to measure accurately air flow throughput or filter effectiveness but it could imply this non-OEM filter wont last as long, or it might let less air flow through or tax the blower more. Next time Ill likely by one of each for a side by side seat of the pants comparison -- as it is, while I can say a new Veva filter seems to work better than the current old used GermGuardian FLT4825 filter, I dont know if that means much.

I dont normally buy off-brand items, but the original Hepa filters for my GermGardian Air Purifier were just so expensive that I decided to give this brand a try. I got a total of four filters and sixteen of the carbon filter sheets ... more than double than what Id get for the original ones at the same price! They installed exactly the same way and look and feel about the same as well. Great value for the money and they work great as well! Will definitely purchase again!!!

I like the fact it comes with carbon filters to change out every month. I change the filter every 4 months
