We have 2 large dogs and live on a large farm-style property (garden, chickens, other dusty stuff). I have our Honeywell 200 series air filter running constantly in our 1,100sqft home, unless the doors/windows are open. These filters work great and I’m NOT good about changing them regularly, so they get quite dirty before they get replaced (annually? Who knows). I also rarely change the carbon filter, but I do vacuum it occasionally. The R filters fit snugly and are much more affordable than the brand name replacements. I changed them today and put a few strips of painter’s tape around the edges of the new carbon filter because that’s where the (few) leaks happen. I’m not pleased that the price has gone up since the last time I bought them, but that’s life, so I’ll be reordering another box to have on hand.

Excellent Product, Price, easy installation. What can I say it really filters household air. You’ll be amazed the amount of pollutants it filters out of air, especially if u have pets!

Using these saves quite a bit over OEM. I run several filters in the home so having plenty of spares around helps keep my air quality up to snuff.

Ive been using these HEPA filters in my Honeywell HPA300 & HPA200 for a long time now. Unfortunately I overlooked some customer comments about the smell of newer versions of this filter. Fact is, I had two old ones left, and unpacked a new (third) one today and the smell literally hits you in the face in a negative way. What a difference to the previous filters. To produce filters for use in air cleaning equipment which literally stink from a distance does bring up the question, or rather assumption, if product quality has taken a back seat to profit orientation. Im going back to Honeywell Hepa filters which are more expensive but dont stick in the least.

Ive been using a competing brand that sells a 9-pack for about the same price as these. Seems good at first, but I was having to change them out monthly because theyd start emitting a burning odor (its not my purifier... removing or changing the filter removes the odor). Having to change them monthly obviously removes the value proposition, so I figured Id try these and see how they do. So far they fit great & time will tell how long they last. Will update once I know more!
