We bought the same thermometer as we had before because we liked the loud beep it made when the reading was finished. The replacement has soft peep and its difficult to hear. What did they bother messing with a winner for?

This an update on the previous review below that was posted Sept 27. The package miraculously appeared on my porch when another Amazon package arrived. No further explanation, no change in tracking info. The product is as described and functions properly. Product never received. Package tracking says it was delivered by Amazon and personally handed over at my address. Not true! The part about personally handing it over has since disappeared from the package tracker

Works for me when I’m sick

Really only takes 8 seconds to display a temp! Also love the large display while still being small and portable overall. Very accurate to me.

Ive had this a little less than 2 months and its already broken. It wont turn on. If i keep pushing it, eventually it will turn on. Also, I have a duplicate of this thermometer and if taking the temp on both within seconds of each other, I get a different result. If i take the temperature on this one and immediately repeat it , I get different results. I dont think its accurate and do not recommend.

This is my favorite thermometer. Mine finally broke and I was able to replace it finally. It was sold out for a while due to COVID. I was elated. I bought a different Vicks and it wasn’t the same. It’s very accurate, easy to read, and easy to use. Highly recommend and the price is right. Vicks also stands behind their product.
