VideoDirector - Edit, Cut and Optimize Videos

When installing it I got a message that this version would not work on my computer. I emailed the software company for a solution but got no response. I’m very disappointed.

I bought this software because my old video editor expired, and I just wanted software that I could pay for ONCE and use for simple video editing. Well guess what, once I finished editing my first project it wanted a subscription fee to convert to MP4 without leaving a g*dd*amned watermark on the video. What a bunch of crap and a complete waste of money.

I purchased this product to edit our vacation videos. Previously, I used Windows Live Movie Maker until it was no longer supported. I tried 2 other products but could not get them to work properly. Not only does this product work, but it is easy enough even for me! It works similar to Windows Live Movie Maker but has more capabilities. So if you miss Movie Maker, this is a great alternative. No, it is not as sophisticated as professional products. But it is more than adequate for my needs, and the price is right. One negative is that it has a few pop ups when starting suggesting that you upgrade to a newer version. But I dont need it and I can live with the pop up. Operation is simple, After starting it, add videos from a folder. Then hit a play button to preview the video. If a segment has a bad portion, it is easy to split the segment and delete the bad portion. Saving ones movie is also simple and it allows you to store it in any of 3 different levels of quality.

This exceeded my expectations and is great.

Seems all of the Editor software lacks at least one thing you want, but this has been one of the best for a non-professional. Still learning, but is very easy to use.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter who has been enjoying making short videos and I thought some editing software would be nice for her PC. Her computer showed to be compatible and the disc came undamaged, so, as it was a gift, we didnt open the packaging until after Christmas. Much to our dismay, it simply doesnt work. My husband contacted the email for troubleshooting, however, the email address doesnt even appear to be legitimate and my time to return has closed. A waste of 35 plus dollars for something literally unusable. Purchase with caution, or better yet, avoid totally.

Every click requires paying for an upgrade. Load a cad, pay for an upgrade. 7 day trial bs. This is a trap. Don’t buy it!

Hi, I bought this video editing software to redo my You Tube videos, and it works great. You can add music to your videos and fade it where you want it and trim your music track for your intro and outro. you can add fades disolves whatever you like to your videos. This is actually a Movavi product and I have to say I was impressed. Looking forward to doing more videos with it. Im still getting the feel for the features, so maybe later I will add a video with my product review.

The instructions and help files are stylishly minimalistic, but so is the progress you make under their guidance. But once you figure some of it out for yourself, its behavior is reasonably consistent. Its that cliff at the beginning of the learning curve that saps your initial enthusiasm. If you dont mind mixing a little cryptography with your video creation, this might be for you.

It seemed like a nice deal until I installed it on my PC and went through editing all my videos and then discovered that they want me to subscribe to an annual package to export my video without a watermark. Very shady and shameful!
