Truly a breakthrough product. Especially right before breakfast, lunch and dinner. You wipe your hood with it. The wet, dead bug body parts are removed from your car, accumulate on the sponge, and get all over your hands. Not much else to say.

Does what it needs to. No scratching.

I got this trying to remove sap off my car (along with bug remover spray), and a regular sponge would have done better. Do not buy this.

I have used the bug sponge for years. It does a great job removing bugs without damaging the paint.

My car put in 4000 miles in 10 days and was plastered with the squashed bugs in the front. Searching for something in Amazon (I love Amazon!), I encountered this bug sponge. Relying on the good comments and the inexpensive price tag, I decided to try it. I am so glad I did. It was nearly effortless. Yes, it needed some elbow grease and some sprays of Windex but it worked like charm. I also washed my entire car while I was at it. My car looks as clean as new, now. The sponge still looks good. I am going to use it for car cleaning from now on.

This sponge works as advertised. I have been able to safely remove bug remains and other road debris without harming the paint job on my car.

This sponge is Very small. Too small to be if any use for a car. See the photo of the sponge in my hand.

If used correctly will not scratch paint.
