Bought a few times from Amazon now. Out of the last 3, 2 of them only worked for between 4-5 cycles and then stayed smelling. The third worked for longer but still quite a few cycles shy of the change filter light.

These filters are added to my household composter. They keep any smell out of my house when my composter runs.

I actually forgot that the FiodCycler came with filters until I noticed a strong vinegar smell every time I used it. The ones that came with the machine actually lasted a year before the odor started coming through. The new filters work great and were easy to change. Dont forget to hit the reset button to get change filter light to go off. One star off for cost and amount of waste generated by throwing old ones away though.

Love the Vitman its amazing thing to buy I recommend it to everybody great for the gardens only thing you gotta watch out is if you have dogs they like to eat the compost if you mix it in with the dirt but this product is amazing does what it says Ive had it for a long time

The insides are basically activated charcoal. You can pry the lid off of the canister, dump out the charcoal and then refill with activated charcoal you can get at the pet store for aquarium. A 40 oz container of activated charcoal is about $16 and you can at least refill two of the canisters about 4 times.
