Vitamix FoodCycler Replacement 2-Pack Filter, eight inches, Black

Needed these filters for continued use of my FoodCycler - which I still believe in. I wish the replacements werent so dear - $25 - since they must be replaced relatively frequently. Ends up making the machine cost an extra $150 to $200 per year. Still, if it really spares the atmosphere CO2, then Ill continue to pay....

I have yet to actually make it until the food cycler indicates a filter change before the smell starts seeping through these guys. Maybe lasts a month or 2.

Ive had the foodcycler since it was a small business before vitamix bought them out so needless to say I have enough experience with it. Typically fertilize my entire yard and all my indoor plants with it. Just bought these replacement filters and somethings off. Filled my bucket with carrots that were a little too old to eat and within minutes of heating up it just smelled awful and rotten. In the past the foodcycler has given off this smell when my filters were used up so Im not sure why its happening on the first use and thereafter. Ive contacted vitamix and will update with their advice and if it helps!

These are oem units so they are exactly what I needed.

I ordered this item last 25th. I replaced it in the next day. Now the machine has strong smelling. I usually replace the filter in 4 months. I’m kind of disappointed for this order.

Have the food cycler so was happy to find on Amazon

This one I ordered as a backup as the buckets are small for my daily needs

Love the Vitman its amazing thing to buy I recommend it to everybody great for the gardens only thing you gotta watch out is if you have dogs they like to eat the compost if you mix it in with the dirt but this product is amazing does what it says Ive had it for a long time

Less than a month and already it says to replace the filter
