Greater than one weekFusion setup easy, works great, very happy. This was the easiest setup Ive ever had with a program like this. The only issue was when I upgraded to Mountain Lion, I had to upgrade to Fusion 5. Overall Fusion makes using Windows on a Mac as easy as running Windows on a PC. Ive never had a crash or problem.

Greater than one weekI need to use Visio and Access on my MAC, and fusion is a better solution than buy a PC. The version 4 is optimized for Lion, and it looks like use less resources than the previous version, it runs Windows 7 without limitation, and I believe it is faster and I can keep open on a desktop meanwhile working on another, without any problem of memory.

> 3 dayI have had no problems running VMWare Fusion 4 with a Windows 98 and various Linux installations. But...Im not happy about the fact that it requires a paid upgrade only a year later in order to maintain compatibility with Mountain Lion. I was happy using VirtualBox for virtualization prior to VMWare, and will be going back to that stable, reliable and free Open Source solution (available from Oracle).

> 3 dayVMWare Fusion 4 is a great product. Easy to install and setup, and the performance is great. Im running it on my 2 month old Macbook Pro 15, and barring games, I can run all the Windows-based applications that I used to, including heavy hitters like Visual Studio 2010. Conducting VM management is a breeze (taking snapshots, deleting snapshots, reverting to a previous snapshot, etc). The best feature is the Unity view, in which Fusion will actually run your Windows apps in their own windows on OSX and even place them in the Launchpad window. This allows a more seamless experience, and is really handy if you plan to only use Fusion to run a handful of programs. The other really nice feature is that within the Windows VM, you can access all your files on your Mac, so transferring/sharing files between your Mac and your Windows VM is really easy.

Greater than one weekIm a big Mac user, but my job uses PCs. Thats always been an issue for me working on programs that arent Mac. I wind up working twice as hard to make files compatible between both platforms, and half the time I lose formatting.

> 3 dayThis is a nice safe way of running windows programs on a Mac without committing yourself to percentages of disc space or having to start and stop the computer. It runs really well, particularly with my odd combination Windows and Microsoft and Corel programs, all from very different dates. Wouldnt swap it for anything else - and it suits an non-techie person like me.

> 3 dayThis is very slow to boot up, and is not intuitive like Apple products are, but it sure does make my Mac look like a PC. I view the latter as a definite negative, but I need Windows for an IRS tax program. That program runs flawlessly on my Mac-running-Windows.

> 3 dayThis is a very fast and worthwhile version of VMware Fusion, which has consistently provided great VM capabilities for Macs to run Windows and thus Windows programs.
