> 3 dayThis was well suited for my specific needs. I got stuck when I did a clean install on my Apple laptop that was tweaked enough that doing a fresh install was bad for my set up but a upgrade would allow me to keep running. This update from Fusion 3 allowed me to bridge that gap. Seems to run at least as well as Fusion 3 did.

> 3 dayI switched to MacBook Pro from PC laptops (Windows) about 2 years ago and at this time Ive got nothing running on Windows that I need anymore. What does this have to do with this product? Not much except Ive now uninstalled it - so I think its a fair comment to say that these bootcamp type solutions are being needed less and less these days. At least, thats my experience. But if you need one, this works fine - no issues.

> 3 dayI bought this for my new Mac. Im a new user to Mac and when I looked at the Specs I thought I was OK. Do NOT buy if you are on Mountain Lion. It is not suppose to work. I opened the box before I found this out and it cost me restocking. I will not deal with this company again. I plan to buy Parallel instead.

> 3 dayI have had no problems running VMWare Fusion 4 with a Windows 98 and various Linux installations. But...Im not happy about the fact that it requires a paid upgrade only a year later in order to maintain compatibility with Mountain Lion. I was happy using VirtualBox for virtualization prior to VMWare, and will be going back to that stable, reliable and free Open Source solution (available from Oracle).

> 3 dayI use a MacBook Pro and had installed VMware v3.0 a couple of years ago to run XP and some non-Mac software. It worked reasonably well but was generally slow but acceptable. I installed VMWare 4.0 and its a real DOG. My McAfee virus software no longer works. Just an empty white box appears when the software is selected. Additionally, Windows Update no longer will connect to the update site. The application I use under XP (the reason I first bought VMware) now is so painfully slow that it is unusable. Overall, if things are working and you want them to continue to keep working, dont upgrade.

> 3 dayThsi product works just as advertised (which, frankly, is saying a lot these days). I bought it for my son to use in college on his Mac laptop. He also needed to run Windows and this seemed like a good option to the basic Mac installed Boot Camp. I let him install it himself and the reports back are that its working great. Simple to install, simple to use and it runs Windows like its supposed to. No complaints so far.

Greater than one weekThis is a great product that does exactly what it says. However, I find myself needing it less and less. Every day less software is Windows only and in fact many products are Mac only these days. The reason I point this out is that I do not feel that I use this software enough to give it a full review that it deserves.
