> 3 daySo I couldnt use it. That was disappointing. I will update the review if and when I upgrade my system, but for the time being, I didnt expect this incompatibility for a relatively new computer.

17-04-2025Used VMWare Fusion 4 on the Mac and the integration into the desktop as well as the seamless performance is the best that one can hope for. Very good stability, copy/paste functionality, and graphics. If you own a Mac you should definitely own this product for the occasional Windows program. I found it critical to use for MS Office during work activities for the greatest document exchange compatibility as well as the more robust Outlook version.

> 3 dayThis is a really good product. Lets face it, not all windows products are for macs. This has so many features that it can fit every ones needs. I highly recommend this product. Boot camp isnt very good because you have to restart your computer every time. This program works so smoothly.

13-04-2025This helps bring the stability of the OSX with the universality of windows. I like it. It is clean and straightforward...without too much fluff.

> 3 dayIf you buy this with a Mac and expect a rebate, dont hold your breath. Ive tried twice and both times got stiffed. I have heard from others that this is some kind of racket with this company - promise a rebate and then never send it. If its worth it to you at full price, knock yourself out, but plan on not getting your rebate.

Greater than one weekI used this with a 2011 iMac for years. It is a way to access Windows from a Mac without rebooting into the Windows Bootcamp partition. It allowed Windows to run side by side with OSX, so you could have the best of both systems without a reboot. The downside was that if you updated the Mac OS, you often got hit with an upgrade charge from the software to be able to use it on the new OS. My current M1 Mac doesnt support VM Ware Fusion, which is unfortunate.

> 3 dayI was a very happy user of Fusion 3, but, have found VMWare Fusion 4 to be not as reliable or robust as version 3 was. Since upgrading, Ive had problems with my mouse cursor disappearing, as well as getting into a mode where my Mac-side Apps wont launch properly. The only thing that seems to fix this is closing Fusion and rebooting the host Mac. The problem is most likely to occur if Im doing other processor-or-disk-intensive work while booting a VM. (Which can take a while for Windows OSs.) I did not have these problems with Fusion 3.
