> 3 dayThis batting is super easy to use, it’s warm and I’ve used it in several quilts over the past year, I haven’t experienced any bearding. My quilts are in my family room so they get used and washed quite a lot. I’m surprised to see the big jump in the price.

> 3 dayI have used warm and natural batting in the past, but this latest package is just so very speckled with black seeds, that Im almost nervous to quilt with it. I hope it doesnt break a needle. Im going to try some other brands of batting after this purchase.

> 3 dayThis is my go to batting for quilting. I love warm and natural brand. It’s light weight but still makes for warm and cozy quilts. This could also be used for a variety of sewing or other crafting projects.

> 3 dayI love this batting. I used a double thickness on my first quilt because Ive always been disappointed with the weight of the polyester fill (too light weight). Darn quilt was so heavy, I had trouble lifting it. The next quilt I made, I only used one layer of the batting.

> 3 dayIve made over one hundred quilts of various sizes, and this batting is the only batting that I use. Its soft, easy to work with, and holds up well to repeated washings. Ive used Warm and Natural batting for everything from mug rugs to king sized quilts and it works great. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayI have used Warm Company Batting in the past and it’s always been top quality batting. In 2012 I made a light weight lap quilt that I use every day, and once a week it goes in the laundry. The batting inside has never thinned, shifted, bunched up or changed in any way. The batting is easy to work with and doesn’t shrink. This batting runs through my sewing machine with ease and doesn’t punch through the fabric like some other batting I have used in the past. I’m really excited to finish my new quilt for my bed. I tend to run hot when I sleep and this cotton batting breath’s better than polyester batting. It’s also not heavy if I need to add an additional blanket for cold winter nights.

04-06-2025IF you dont want this batting to shrink 3% you MUST pre wash it ! I had already pre washed the top and bottom fabrics for my quilt. The top is 100% organic cotton in a woven jacquard design. Heavy ! The bottom is German made double napped 100$ cotton flannel in a loom woven buffalo plaid. Now I have got to put this twin size batting in my kitchen sink (I have a front loading washing machine so I cant just put it in a top loader to soak as instructed) and Lord only knows how much this will weigh when fully wet....and find some way to get the water out without spinning it out.....They suggest laying it between a washable blanket and pressing the excess water out.....Not gonna happen ! IF I had read the package BEFORE I opened it, this would go back and I would just use a poly light weight filling....As it is now, this will sit on my sewing closet shelf until I make a quilt and I do not pre shrink the top and bottom first. So I call this a failure to fully disclose. They need to tell you it will shrink 3% if not washed first !!!
