> 3 dayHad an older model that gave me so many problems. This one is fantastic. Just instal the drivers from their website and everything works like a charm. Amazing quality, zero lag, fast charging for Macbook Pro and PC. Highly recommend!

> 3 daySome would sayI have too many devices attached to my laptop which has only 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports. This product is my latest attempt to find something that works well for me both in terms of functionality and physical characteristics. This docking station gives me enough USB ports to supplement what I already have in a Thunderbolt dock and that is just what I wanted it for. I didnt measure data transfer rates and other performance factors but I also didnt notice any issues. There is a bonus feature I didnt expect: Display Link support lets me use an additional monitor. The laptop I have supports only two screens - the laptop screen itself and one additional monitor. Having two real monitors is a nice luxury that one can get attached to. Seeing the DL capability, I pulled an older monitor out of the closet and connected it to the HDMI port on the docking station. Once I installed the DL driver I downloaded from Synaptics and configured the set up I had two 24 monitors up and running. (FWIW I have the laptop on a shelf - its open and sometimes I do use it as a third screen.) [A note to Mac users. Apple TV+ on a Mac will not work with DL so when I want to watch TV+ I have to stop the driver. It is easy to start and restart so it isnt a big issue but it did take a little Internet searching to figure out. The problem has nothing to do with the docking station itself.] The photos in the product listing do a good job of showing the docking station from different angles so you can see the connections so I just provided a single image so you can see how Im using it. I think this is a great product.

> 3 dayI have no issues with this product. It does as it is supposed to. I appreciate the USB ports immensely. You can never have enough USB ports these days.

> 3 dayI was looking for a way to expand the connectivity and functionality of my laptop. This docking station while light on some of the modern ports (it lacks USB-C) and has 4 USB 2.0. It also has a DVI and HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, 6 USB Ports, Audio and Mic ports. This docking station is great for connecting a laptop to multiple devices and peripherals, such as monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, printers, scanners, external hard drives or thumb drives. The dock is pretty compact coming in a bit smaller then the size of most laptop chargers. It has a slick feel somewhere between smooth plastic and Lego. It has a black plastic body with a no slip base that attracts dust pretty aggressively. The docking station has a variety of ports and slots that can accommodate different types of devices and cables. It has: - A USB 3.0 Type B port that connects to your laptop via a USB 3.0 cable (included) - x2 USB 3.0 Type A port - x4 USB 2.0 Type A port - A HDMI port - A DVI port - A Gigabit Ethernet port - A Headphone port - A Mic port It also comes with three converters - A USB Type A (Female) to USB Type C (Male) - A VGA (Female) to DVI (Male) - A HDMI (Female) to DVI (Male) The docking station also comes with a power adapter (12V/2A). I have been using the dock for about a while now, and I can say that it has definitely improved my laptop experience when I am stationary using a multiple monitor and mobile station setup. I use it for both work and entertainment purposes, and it allows me to connect my laptop to multiple devices and peripherals with ease. Some of the benefits that I have noticed from using the USB 3.0 Universal Laptop Docking Station are: Of course, the dock is not perfect and has some drawbacks as well. Most notably it has an older set of ports, DVI and only USB Type A with many being 2.0 is not ideal. However it is useful with my current peripherals.

Greater than one weekThis Wavlink docking station works great for my Dell Latitude 5300. It is true plug and play with no software to install. I had been searching for a docking station that did not connect to my laptop via the C Port, as I needed that for an external touchscreen monitor. This is the perfect solution for that problem since it plugs in via USB. The monitor output is great. I dont see any decreased resolution whatsoever and the docking station came with several adapters so I had no problems getting two monitors hooked up.

> 3 dayHavent had any issues using this for one of our basic PXIe chassis setups to extend to a second 1080p monitor. All the ports seem to be working fine. So far, it is a good item.

> 3 dayI have a desktop and a laptop. I wanted to set up a 2nd workstation in my office for the laptop. The laptop is an older ThinkPad but still works very well. I saw this WavLink docking station. Since Ive successfully use their network products for a while now I trusted that it would work as advertised and I was right. This docking station fits my need perfectly. I have 2 older 24 monitors that have HDMI inputs. I also have an extra wired keyboard and mouse. I figured I was set. I hooked up the docking station to the laptop with the supplied high speed USB cable. One monitor I connected direct to the HDMI port on the docking station and the other to the DVI port using the DVI to HDMI adapter supplied with the docking station. Plugged in the power supply. I connected the keyboard and mouse to 2 of the USB 2.0 ports on the docking station. Since I use the laptop in the office on WiFi and the printer connected to the laptop by WiFi I didnt have to worry about the network connection or configuring the printer.. I fired it up and everything was groovy. I set up the laptop for dual monitor use and extended the desktop onto the 2nd monitor. I then set up the laptop so I could close the top and still work. Instant 2nd workstation! Best of all, all I need to do is detach the USB adapter from the laptop and take it when I want and just plug it when Im back. This is an ideal solution!

> 3 dayI ordered this for my work laptop just so Id have an easy way to dock/undock if needed to take my laptop with me places, but wow Im seriously surprised by how much I like this dock. It works great, works with HDMI and DVI monitor cables which is awesome, doesnt seem to have any display delays or lag or anything when typing or moving the mouse, just a great experience. The included display adapters are awesome and is a great include on this, actually ended up not needing them because this already supports DVI cables, but the fact they included several adapters just in case is amazing. 10/10, definitely recommend this!
