I used Samsung EVO 970 M.2 before comparing it to this WD BLACK 4TB SN850X NVMe Internal Gaming SSD, not much speed improvement in Windows 10 Pro boot up, 4Tb is not enough for a big Size, I would go with an 8TB Average, its expensive, theres no option for single M.2 NVme 16TB, 32TB or 64TB Yet for consumers, New motherboard factors trying to get cableless inside PC Cases, to make it faster & more clean, also M.2 is getting cheaper and cheaper, theres no worry about the prices, Thank to the seller is trusted!

I installed this in a PS5. Based on the PS5 speed rating after formatting, it is faster than the Samsung 980 Pro it replaced. So far performance has been outstanding.

As others have done, I picked this SSD for my PS5. Digital downloads are becoming more common and game sizes much larger. I do not like to wait for a game to download only to play it for a while and have to uninstall when I need room for another. This is a must have for people who purchase a lot of digital content rather than physical, or anyone with the PS5 digital. This is especially true if you have slower internet and want to keep your digial games on your system in case you want to go back and play them.

This is the best NVME SSD I have ever used. It is incredibly fast, responsive, and incredible.

Im in love with the speed that this SSD brings, its honestly great. I dont even have much else to say, the installation was prettystraightforward(especially if you know the spot where it gets installed onto) and the packaging is great. I bought it for the speed and space, the fact that this little thing has 4tb of space is crazy to me and the speed that it outputs is pretty impressive but off course with size comes extensive amount of worry especially for the price so just be careful...My boy (SSD) is fast but hes not furious ;).

I have had this for a few months now in a PS5. It is working great so far. More storage to hold more games is great!

I purchased a 1tb version and a 4tb version. After two months of waiting on parts to continue my build, the 1TB version stopped working. Yes it showed up before during my mobo testing and multiple bios updates. Now, as I try to focus on my build, I find that the 1TB has completely failed. I have tested the mobo with other drives and it works fine. This is sad as its the first time Ive ever had an issue with WD especially their black models, but here it is a POS that I cant return because its past the date. STAY AWAY.

Installation was 2 minutes. Unfortunately they ran out of the heatsink bundle so I took a chance with SABRENT HEATSINK FOR PS5 for $20 and it works like a charm! I have the full 4TB and I can’t wait to add more pre orders knowing I don’t have to delete any games!

I was scared to install this, but it was super easy to do. Just make sure the screw isn’t tightened too much or it will bend. It does what it’s supposed to and haven’t had a problem with it. It’s also a little less expensive here than I could find anywhere else for this brand.
