Got a 1 TB as a Prime Day Lightning deal for $113.99. I know, right!

There were no mounting screws with my order. Also no info on what type I need. This has caused a delay in my ability to install and use it. Please advise!

This works perfectly in my PS5, 1TB really adds a lot of space for games. Seems to be just as fast as the built in memory. Incredibly easy to install, just watch a youtube video on how to remove the plates on your PS5.

I installed these to my newer computer, an i9-13900K and it almost seems slower than my older S**sung NVMe drives from 2 years ago. I tried them with my i9-12900KF setup they were downright snappy - which is the one I ran the S**sung drives on. Checked settings wen to their site, asked around, checked the internet Im stumped. Both machines are mirror images of one another save for the mainboard, chipset, and CPU. They had the same everything else, RAM, video, even the Wi-Fi is identical. Its a puzzler. Rated three for gaming because I dont game and higher or lower isnt neutral, I guess. Rock stable though, no doubt about that and very cool running. Id say they are great drives and would purchase them again as they are larger than the ones I had before.

Took less than a minute to install. The hardest part was removing the cover from the PS5 because I was terrified of breaking it. 2 screws to remove, installed the HD, put the two screws back, and my memory is now > 2TB. Highly recommend!

I got this when it was on sale for my PS5 so that I didnt have to play hot potato with hdd storage anymore and its honestly one of the best decisions Ive DONE. Its very easy to install, all you need is a screwdriver for 2 bolts. After a couple of weeks of use I havent noticed any real difference in loading speed between this and the PS5 native ssd, it feels just right. If you need extra storage, I highly recommend it.

I gave this product a 4 star for one thing and one thing only: price. You’re better off getting the regular SN850 or even the SN770 for value (unless this one is on sale). The difference in performance will be MINIMAL.

After so many mixed reviews on external hard drives, we decided to go with an internal SSD & I’m so glad we did! It was easy to install after watching a YouTube video. The formatting took seconds to do & we were set to go! We’ll eventually upgrade to 2TB but for now we’re very satisfied!
