Bought it for my ps5! So far so good! Easy to install

With the size of video games these days, I had to upgrade the amount of storage capability in my laptop. This was a great price, for a whole lot of storage, and I almost wish I had another slot in my laptop because Id buy another one.

Install was very easy and straightforward. I bought the heatsink to go with it. The PS5 did not boot immediately, which worried me a bit, but on the second attempt it recognized the drive and started formatting. I now have more storage than I know what to do with lol.

As stated, very easy Toni stall and straight forward.

I couldnt get wd clone drive software to work and it was difficult to find. I ended up just reinstalling windows.

Delivery lost my order, but amazon sent me another one, installed in less than 5 mins, I ordered the 2tb with heatsink because higher capacity SSDs are faster than lower ones, i tested to moving speed of games, it moved one of my 80gb games in exactly one minute, i am impressed.

If youre on the fence about getting an SSD drive for your PS5 go ahead and stop thinking about it and do it! The fact that the PS5 doesnt come with a full terabyte of space and couple the fact that games are getting closer and closer and some case passing the 100GB threshold it becoming a pain in the arse to even download or reinstall games. I got the 2 terabyte version of the SSD and I am playing God of War Ragnarok straight from the SDD and there are no screen tears or any noticeable quality downgrade. Hope this helps!

100% Works with PS5, we bought a separate heat sink for it. So far its been flawless, runs games just as fast as the hard drive the PS5 comes with. Wish it was a bit more affordable but got tired of deleting games to download others.
