> 24 hourI managed to snag a 1TB drive for next to nothing. Id been considering upgrading my servers main OS/VM drive, so this was a perfect candidate for that! That being said, its being used to run virtual machines so performance may be a bit skewed. Regardless, Im getting 1.7Gbps reads and writes under a Windows 10 VM so Ive got no complaints what-so-ever.

> 24 hourTried to install with adapter card but it wouldnt be recognized in bios or windows ...Western digital support wasnt helpful just said it wasnt recommended for use with an adaptor told me I should connect to an M.2 slot when I explained that my MB didnt have one they went back to not recommended and left it at that ..... nowhere in the ad on amazon does it say anthing about use with adapters .......I recommend that if you want to buy a SSD M.2 use a different vendor WD sucks

> 24 hourThe hard part of installation was managing the tiny screw used to hold the drive on the motherboard. After that, it was ready to use. It was recognized by the MB (Asus X570-Plus) in the Bios. X-Plane 11 appears to run faster on this drive.
