> 24 hourI am very happy with this drive. I upgraded from a slower HDD, and its a huge speed boost, and was easy to install. As for speed, I am very satisfied, as I got what I expected for the cost. A drive $100 more would get roughly 1000MB/s faster speeds, but you get what you pay for.

> 24 hourIt only been a few months since I got my computer. But I noticed it ran slower than my almost decade old laptop. Upgraded the ram and put in this new ssd. You will feel the upgrade right away. Now u have a 10-15 second boot time. Nothing is going running right because if COVID. But at least now I have a super fast computer to keep me occupied.

> 24 hourTo transfer a large file from SSD to SSD I get some speeds around 450 mb per second, for me its pretty strong. To transfer a large file from that SSD to a regular HDD 7200 RPM 256mb, I get a stable 240mb per seconds approximately, which is more then enough for me. (My computer is ASUS B-360M-A with i5 8400 CPU and 2666mhz memory)

> 24 hourAfter you setup your OS, software types, etc., download DashboardSetup from Western Digital website. This will tell you health, storage, temperature, and how many times you can download/add/remove software to the drive. Ive been constantly adding/removing games, digital Marvel/DC Comics since 2021, and still at 98 percent Add/Remove ability. Also, if youre purpose for this drive is digital creations or intense gaming, get a heatsink.
