> 3 dayHo un Acer nitro che di serie ha un ssd nvme da 26Gbyte, avendo un secondo slot libero lho comperato ed installato in pochi minuti. Lo uso da un mese e devo dire che è veloce, efficace e finalmente ho 2gbyte in più. Come vedete dalle foto del benchmark nonostante il prezzo e no cache batte tanti NVMe di costo molto superiore. Imballo perfetto, blister integro. Consigliatissimo.

> 3 dayIs MAC firmware upgrade available for SN550 blue. I am looking for WD digital dashboard firmware dmg file which can run on MAC to upgrade firmware. On MAC you will receive storage device Reference code VDH002, when you run MAC system check hold on key D. Without firmware upgrade for MAC, SSD will run hot and can eventually cook motherboard. I think WD digital dashboard is available for windows and NOT for MAC yet?

> 3 dayOne of the best m.2 ssds that Ive seen for the price. It literally took me (first time pc builder) 20 seconds to install. Just to know, the drive is 500Gb but only 460gb is usable. Great for budget builds.

13-06-2025At only an extra £10 Id say go for the WD Black SN750 (havent tested it personally but specs look better). Otherwise extremely fast and will definitely outperform a regular SSD, though not by a crazy amount. The speeds listed are almost exactly what I measured. 2600 MB/s for best case (fairly uncommon), but usually around 500MB/s for games and other typical use cases I imagine most people will use it for.
