I ordered this on June 9th for my HP Omen Gaming laptop. It worked fine until yesterday morning when I went to restart my Laptop after installing a Windows update, I created a Restore Point before installing the small Windows Update (which was a Definition update). A Restart was required it said, so I restarted my Laptop and as soon as I did that, it gave me an error message and to launch Startup repair. I tried to use the Restore Point I created earlier but it gave me an error, even after everything seemed to work fine before I restarted, I tried the repair startup via USB and the recovery software that came with my HP Omen and that failed to fix the problem. I ran Chkdsk/fixboot on the M2 drive and it showed a insane amount of bad sectors, along with very long error codes. I tried Aomei Partition to fix the bad sectors and that didnt even work. Obviously my case is rare, just be careful when upgrading to this drive. Amazon was very understanding and offered me a same day refund after dropping it off at a UPS store to ship it back.
