I upgraded my Mac Mini (late 2014 model) including a new PNY 1TB SSD hard drive and this NVMe. The NVMe requires an adapter, which I purchased on Amazon as well. (Sintech M.2 NGFF NVMe SSD Card for Upgrade Mac Mini Late 2014 Year A1347 MEG Series). You will need a #6 and #8 Torx SECURITY screwdrivers to get into the Mac mini and to install the new parts. I had a Torx set, but they werent security so I had to make a dash to the store before they closed so I could use the computer the next day.

Only fast for a couple seconds during a photo transfer. After that it slows way down. The 2TB version stays fast during an entire copy of photos

Obwohl es in einschlägigen Foren hieß, diese Festplatte ließe sich nicht in ein 2015er 13 MacBook Pro mit Adapter einbauen, hab ich es versucht und es hat geklappt.

Un NVMe para uso general excelente, difícil algo mejor por su rango de precio (al 12/04/2023) de €136 en la versión de 2 TB, con 900 TBW que aunque parece poco hoy en día es más que suficiente para varios años, el WD Dashboard para administrarlo supera a las aplicaciones de la mayoría de marcas.

Performs to the specs. It was my first SSD install, so it took some doing to get the software sorted out, but it is running great!

I had to return it because I got one locally before it arrived, but the drive is legit, not a fake. And they do reach quite close to the read and write speeds they claim (within 300mbps)

I bought this a week ago and had to return with a replacement order because my PC failed to recognize it after the first reboot (it did recognize once). I also checked my BIOS and it didnt show up anymore. I thought, maybe, my PC was the root of the problem, so I bought a new Samsung 970 EVO from the nearby BestBuy and tried it on my PC. It worked flawlessly.
