> 3 dayI installed this drive with an sata adaptor in my wifes mac mini. Installation was pretty simple but required special secure torq tool to open the case. Installation took about 15 minutes. Copying original disk to new ssd took about 3 hours (700 GB of data). It used to take 4 minutes to boot the mac mini; booting from ssd takes about 30 seconds. Big improvement! All applications operate much faster.

> 3 dayOur budget Lenovo (IdeaPad 3 15IIL05) came with a 256GB SSD. To make it more useful, I originally paired it with an external WD Black 500 GB hdd. That has its limitations, though, as its not very transportable. After the warranty expired, upgrading to the 1 TB internal SSD was simple. Lots of online videos on how to remove the back cover and locate the SSD. First I took the new SSD and put it into an SSD enclosure I also purchased on Amazon. Then I was able to format it with Windows from the existing SSD (hidden partition). Finally I removed the laptop cover, took the old SSD out and put the new SSD in. The old SSD went into the SSD external enclosure. It was easy to copy all the files from the external hdd to the new 1 TB drive, and Ive been up and running with no issues. No problems with portability, either (the 500GB hdd is semi-retired; I only pull it out on rare occassions). Great upgrade!

> 3 dayunfortunately I did not get around to installing this until after the return period expired. The SSD has all kinds of errors. I wasted a lot of time trying to install it in windows. I wasnt sure the card was the problem with my computer so I tried installing linux and it installed but it found too many errors on the SSD card and crashed.
