> 3 dayIve had really good luck with Whiteside bits. This one didnt disappoint. I needed to create depressions to hold loose items on my drill press cabinet and this bit worked great in the Baltic birch plywood with no chip-out and nice smooth rectangular depression. For deeper bowls youll probably want to add a bit extension.

> 3 dayI bought this to hollow out some tests. The blade is sharp so it plunges an cuts smoothly leaving a great finish with no chipout.

> 3 dayUsed the router bit for the first time and while the bit cut clean and accurate, the guide bearing failed, froze up and spun on the shaft. The bit is still sharp and usable, but not as designed with a guide bearing.

> 3 dayLove this bit. Very stable and easy to manage in my router table. Makes a nice flat surface, doesn’t burn or chip out. At first I tried the 3/4” bowl bit but it was frustrating because the flat spot was too small. This has a nice large flat spot.

Greater than one weekVery good router bit. Whiteside are not as cheap as some but they are excellent quality and very sharp. It will outlast many many cheaper ones. It cut smoothly and didnt burn the wood.
